With a report on the last page on the death of Samuel Mills (abt. 1632-1727) of Jamaica, Long Island, aged 95 years.

5. Unaccomplished Printed Massachusetts-Bay Indenture
Massachusetts-Bay, no date (after 1720). Printed unaccomplished indenture, "for the Purchasing Houses, and Lands for the Perpetuating the Charity of the Honourable Edwad (sic) Hopkins..." Folio. Two sheets. Disbound, light spotting.

6. Manuscript Receipt
Province New Hampshire, no date (ca. 1756 or after). Single oblong sheet, 3 x 3 5/8 in. (76 x 92 mm). Manuscript receipt, for £111, "Rec'd of the province for my service in the Expedition against Crown pointe." Creased from old folds. In frame.

The Crown Point Expedition was a failed 1756 English siege of the French stronghold of Fort Saint-Frédéric on Lake Champlain during the French and Indian War.
