18th century, set with pierced panels decorated with scrollwork and flowers, both above and below the mirror plate, the upper tablet decorated with a painted roundel depicting a classical figure, set with a bowknot crest on an egg-and-dart-carved upper molding.

Condition:

**In overall very good condition. The gilt surface exhibits rubbing, wear, quality past restorations, and some flaking to the gilt. The carved roundel in its crest exhibits a crack/break across its upper third.
The mirror plate appears to be replaced. It is generally crisp and clear, with some subtle irregularities in the silvering to create warmth and an appearance of age.
