Condition:
This vintage putter displays typical signs of extensive use and advanced age. The putter head exhibits a rich, darkened patina across its entire surface, along with numerous surface scratches, nicks, and dings commensurate with decades of play. The edges show noticeable wear and some minor abrasions. While the shaft appears original to the piece, the original shaft band is no longer present. The shaft itself shows minor surface wear, light scuffs, and some very subtle pitting consistent with its age, though it remains structurally sound. A newer, black Ping grip is present and appears to be in very good condition, offering a comfortable and secure feel.

Step onto the green with a true icon of golfing history, a vintage Ping 1A putter that doesn't just sink putts – it tells a story. This legendary club isn't merely a tool; it's a tangible link to the genesis of one of golf's most revered brands. Though its original shaft band has gracefully retired, and a comfortable, newer Ping grip now ensures a confident hold, the soul of this classic remains intact, ready to inspire its next owner to find that perfect line.
