Two 19th C Presentation Boxes, One MOP
There are two presentation items including an 1860 shell and mother of pearl box with a single hinge, velvet lined and measuring 1.5"h x 2 3/4"w x 1.5"d. It is dated 1860 on the note inside the box. It is in good condition with some cracking to the shell veneer, however firmly attached to the box. The second item is a box "Made from the door of the Levee room of Gen. Washington at Philada" "from W H Stoker 1839" measuring approximately 2.5" diameter.
