An early 19th century oil on canvas painting in the style of John Constable (English, 1776 - 1837) depicting a rural scene with horses, a cow, a flock of sheep with their shepherd and and other tradesmen including a blacksmith with a large church in the background. It is unsigned and presented in an ornate gesso-covered giltwood frame. Sight: 12" x 27.5"
