  • Literature: A sculptor, painter, and wood carver, William Boogar, Jr. had a foundry in Haddonfield, New Jersey and also lived in Provincetown, Massachusetts. He became known for his seagull sculptures, and also designed fountains. He studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and with Charles Hawthorne in Provincetown. He was a member of the Provincetown Art Association and the Beachcombers Club.
