Bottle. Continental gilt bronze hinged vessel decorated with putti, shells, and flowers. Accompanied by a Continental, probably French, silver-gilt mounted scent bottle - pictorial hallmark present, most probably a French domestic silver hallmark of a boar's head representing .800 silver (Paris, 1838-1962). With velvet interior to hinged vessel. From a Bristol, CT estate. Dimensions: gilt bronze vessel measures approx. 4.5" h.

    Condition:
  • Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Hinge of scent bottle broken. Scent bottle filled with unknown substance. Stopper is stuck and condition is unknown.
