A Chinese pewter teapot in the form of a koi fish with a bamboo-form handle dating from the 19th century. The fish rests upon a round foot with incised wave designs. The fish's eyes are glass. The top fin and tail are removable. The bottom is incised with "CHINA." Dimensions are: 6 1/2 inches tall X 10 inches wide, 16.5 cm X 25.4 cm. Weight: 820 grams. All measurements are approximate.
