American Rococo Revival Laminated Rosewood Settee

attributed to J. & J. W. Meeks, New York, in the "Hawkins" pattern, with an open carved crest centered by a floral-carved crest flanked by grapes and arabesques, closed arms, serpentine seat and cabriole legs.

  • Condition:
  • **In overall good condition. Minor shrinkage cracks to the wood. Slight looseness to the left seam where the side crest joins the center crest. The back side of the crest refinished. Good, rich color throughout. Old silk fabric mildly worn.
