Amethyst and Enamel Cufflinks. Pair of late 19th/early 20th century signed, most probably Faberge, 14kt yellow gold cufflinks comprised of white enamel work, amethyst cabochons, and surrounds of rose cut diamonds. Stamped, "56" in a shovel form frame alongside an unidentified assay master's initials; additional maker's mark of AH flanking a star most surely representing August Hollming (active 1880-1913). Accompanied by a signed Faberge hinged box. Total approx. weight of cufflinks is 7.4 dwt (gross). From a Manhattan, NY estate. Dimensions: circular pendant measures approx. 0.55" in diameter.

    Condition:
  • Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Minor losses and some crazing to enamel - specifically throughout barrel form pendants.
