Two watercolors by Harriet Chew Parks of Baltimore, one titled 'Spring in Maryland' with 1952 Baltimore Art Festival label to reverse. The other painting is of a gallery from the same time period. Dimensions are: Gallery painting: Frame size: 19 1/8 inches tall X 22 5/8 inches wide; 48.57 cm tall X 57.46 cm wide. Sight area: 12 3/8 inches tall X 15 1/2 inches wide; 31.43 cm tall X 39.37 cm wide. "Spring in Maryland": Frame size: 23 inches tall X 29 1/4 inches wide; 58.42 cm tall X 74.29 cm wide. Sight area: 13 7/8 inches tall X 20 inches wide; 35.24 cm tall X 50.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

  • Provenance: From the estate of Paul Patterson, son of noted Baltimore Sun newspaper head Paul Chenery Patterson.
  • Condition: Not inspected out of frame. Paintings are loose in frames. No noted damage to paintings.
