This is a wooden World War II ship steering wheel clock that measures approx 19" dia with a brass eagle that stands approx 6 1/2" H on the top edge. The brass plaque on the clock reads "34th Infantry Regiment". It is stamped with the dates 1945 - 1948 with locations in Japan where battles had taken place: Sasebo, Kyushu, Lorraine, Hollandia, Biak, Leyte, Battan, Corregidor, Mindoro, Mindanao. It appears as though another plaque may have been originally mounted on the clock. There are Asian character marks on the face of the clock and stamped "No. 1379". The clock key is included. There is loss to the metal painted surface around the clock, as seen in photo.
