Description: This lot includes: "Civil War Sailor" by Irving Weinstein. This is approx 6" x 9" and is 144 pages of adventure as a young solder sneaks aboard an Union Navy ship and is involved in a famous battle. This is a hardcover and has library markings inside. Spine is in good shape with pages showing signs of yellowing. "The Civil War Strange and Fascinating Facts" by Burke Davis. This is approx 6"x 9" and is 256 pages of intriguing oddities, unusual incidents, and colorful personalities connected with the Civil War. This is a hardcover that is in good shape with rip only on the dust-jacket. There is a dedication written in the inside cover. "The Civil War Handbook" by William H Price. A soft-cover that is approx 6" x 9 and is 72 pages. This is the original, 1st edition that goes into historic facts about the civil war. The pages are clean, but there is damage to the spine. Pages are still fully attached. "Confederate General from Big Sur" by Richard Brautigan. This is a hardcover that measures approx 6" x 9" and is 159 pages about an man named Lee Mellon believes he is a descendant of a Confederate general who was originally from Big Sur, California. This book is mising its dust jacket and is in good, used shape. "Mathew Brady: His Life and Photographs" by George Sullivan. This is approx 8" x 10 1/2" and is 127 pages of reproductions of historical photographs mark this look at the life and vision of Civil War photographer Mathew Brady, whose work, along with the work of his assistants, provides a visual record of the people and events of his time. Book is in good condition with minor ware on dust-jacket. And "Across Five Aprils" by Irene Hunt. This hard-cover is approx 6" x 9" and is 223 pages of a coming of age story about an young boy and his family who are in the middle of the Civil War. Signed by writer on the inside front page. Book is in good shape with minor discoloration.
