Description: General Cord Dietrich von Hobe signed 6 x 4 vintage photo. 1909 - 1991 last lieutenant general of the Bundeswehr. After graduating from the grammar school Ettal Hobe resigned as an officer cadet in the sixth (Prussian) Artillery Regiment of the Reichswehr in Hanover, attended 1928-1930 the infantry and artillery school and worked as a battery officer, department and regimental adjutant in Münster , Celle , Hanover and Koblenz operates. The Military Academy Berlin he attended from 1938 to 1939. During the Second World War, he found using different kind in Division rods or rod in the fourth Army in the West and on the Eastern Front . In 1944 he became tactics instructor at the Military Academy in Hirschberg. In November of the same year he was transferred as a regimental commander to the infantry and was leader of various Division battle groups on the Western Front . He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross awarded. In 1945 he became a colonel and commander of the armoured group XIII for a short time in American captivity. Politically, Hobe committed after the Second World War in the DKP-DRP , for which he in the first general election unsuccessfully ran on the country list Schleswig-Holstein. After he worked as a farmer in the village of Mill coupling, Hobe entered 1956 in the Bundeswehr and was first chief of staff of the military leadership council. In 1957 he was Deputy Director-vibration feet III in MoD. Hobe commanded from 1961 to 1964, the 11th Panzer Grenadier Division , was then deputy.
