After the original 1912 Napoleonic Egg, created for the Russian Royal Family by Carl Faberge. Handcrafted enamel & gilt over pewter & adorned with 480 Austrian crystals. The egg can be removed from its gilt tri-footed stand & the top lifts off to reveal an enameled interior for storing trinkets or jewels. A surprise grouping of 5 miniature folding portrait frames is stored inside the egg. 6 1/2" H X 3 1/2" D. Comes with gift box.
