Conditions of Sale
A 23% Buyer's Premium will be added to all items purchased at the auction via phone or absentee bid, 28% if purchased via Invaluable, Live Auctioneers, or Auction Zip. All items are also subject to any applicable state and local sales and use tax unless the purchaser presents a valid sales tax exemption certificate. Unless prior arrangements have been made, items of intrinsic material value including but not limited to precious metals such as gold and silver, jewelry, gemstones or otherwise deemed high value items may be required to be paid for via wire transfer or cashiers check to parties unknown at the auctions discretion.
All property is sold "AS IS" without any representations or warranties by Old Kinderhook Auction Company, express or implied, as to merchantability, fitness for particular purpose, attribution, authenticity, the correctness of the catalogue or other description of the physical condition, size, quality, rarity, importance, medium, frame, provenance, period, age, date, and no statement anywhere, whether oral or written, whether made in the catalogue, salesroom posting or announcement, invoice, condition report or elsewhere, shall be deemed such warranty, representation or assumption of liability. We strongly encourage prospective bidders to examine lots in person and for themselves. If you have any doubts about any of the above, or anything else, please do not bid as refunds will not be given for any reason. Bidding signifies complete agreement and understanding of these terms.
We reserve the right to withdraw any item before or at the sale and have no liability whatsoever.
Certain lots may be offered subject to a reserve (confidential minimum price below which the item will not sell).
We reserve the right to reject any bid. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer will be the purchaser. In the case of a disputed bid, the auctioneer will have sole discretion on determining the successful bidder.
Shipping Terms
Buyer Pays Shipping Cost Shipping can be expensive, we encourage you to obtain a shipping quote from your preferred shipper before bidding.
We offer free storage for items purchased at our facility for up to 14 days after the auction. After this grace period, storage fees of $10.00 a day per item will accrue, unless prior arrangements have been made.

Payment
Credit cards on file may be charged 2 days after an invoice has been sent. Unless prior arrangements have been made, all fine jewelry lots must be paid by bank check or wire transfer.
