the wooden case with gilt bronze mounts, alabaster columns and applied mother-of-pearl decoration, brass 8-day movement with silk thread suspension and grand sonnerie quarter hour strike, with music box in the base, has pull repeat, the dial with sub-calendar dial, signed "Johann Engel In Wien"

Retains the original paint, upper finial broke (with clock), music box door replaced, chip in dial at 3 o'clock, functions properly (15-minute test), grand sonnerie working, music box does not work.
