Up for bid is one 50 million year old North African fossil shark tooth. Otodus obliquus is a extinct Mackerel Shark that lived approximately 55 million years ago. Beautifully colored teeth from the phosphate pits in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco. Teeth average approximately 2 in. 2.5in.in.(some may be up to 3" or more depending on availability) and are all good quality or better, very attractive teeth. These teeth are all hand-selected and some may have some restoration The "Great Grandfather" of the megalodon. Great natural science gift. The miness are located about 70km north of Marrakesh.
