READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please call us before the auction and/or before bidding if you have questions about billing and payment for this auction (864) 609-4343 (M-F 9am-5pm). Do not call us after the auction to tell us that you do not agree or have dislike for our terms and conditions. Read them and agree to them or simply do not participate. If you do not understand anything as written in our terms and conditions, do not participate until you have contacted a representative from either Carolina Auctioneers or AuctionZip.com for clarification of Terms. Agreeing to our terms and conditions is a contract in which you will be held responsible for. If payment is not made as agreed in our Terms and Conditions.
STATEMENTS MADE DAY OF SALE TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER ALL PREVIOUSLY WRITTEN MATERIAL. ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS WHERE IS WITH OUT ANY GUARANTEE.
All trays and displays are property of the auction company and are not included in the lot unless otherwise noted.
All weights and sizes are approximate.
Local bidding on furniture is encouraged as shipping of large items is costly and is to be arranged for by the buyer. The auction company does not ship large furniture items.
Carolina Auctioneer - The Auctioneer only reserves the right to withdraw any property before the auction.
1. Default
For all purposes of a sale the Auctioneers (Carolina Auctioneers) shall be deemed to be the agent of both the Seller and the Purchaser and they shall not be considered responsible for any default on the part of either the Seller or Purchaser.
2. Warranty of Title
The vendor warrants to Carolina Auctioneers and the buyer that he is the true owner of the property or is properly authorized to sell the property by the true owner and is able to transfer good and marketable title to the goods free from any third party claims.
The vendor warrants to Carolina Auctioneers and it's servants and agents and the buyer against any loss or damage suffered by either in consequence of any breach of the above on the part of the vendor
3. Bidding
The highest bidder for each lot shall be the Purchaser of it. No one is entitled to retract a bid. The Auctioneers reserve the right of refusing any bid without giving any reason and of altering, adding to, dividing, consolidating or withdrawing any lot or lots for sale.
The Auctioneers reserve the right to fix a reserve price for any lot prior to the beginning of auction.
The Auctioneers reserve the right to bid on behalf of the Seller on lots which are subject to a reserve price. The Seller shall not be entitled to bid where the Auctioneers have reserved such a right.
The Auctioneers will accept commission bids from any person who is unable to attend the sale
5. Online Bidding
Carolina Auctioneers offer an online bidding service for bidders who cannot attend the sale.
In completing the bidder registration on www.auctionzip.com by providing your credit card details and unless alternative arrangements are agreed with Carolina Auctioneers you authorize Carolina Auctioneers if they so wish, to charge the credit card given in part or full payment, including all fees, for items successfully purchased in the auction via auctionzip.com, or this site and confirm that you are authorized to provide these credit card details to Carolina Auctioneers and agree that Carolina Auctioneers are entitled to ship the goods to the card holder name and card holder address provided in fulfilment of the sale.
There will be an 15% buyers premium added to the hammer price of each item (in addition to the 5% premium assessed by auction zip / invaluable).
Bidders are approved for online bidding based on their previous records and information provided by Auction Zip and Invaluable. Credit card payment information must be entered before approval. Approval is solely at the discretion of Carolina Auctioneers. We are not aware of the online bids in advance, but only during the time of the auction as they are forwarded to our computer. Carolina Auctioneers will not be responsible for any omissions, errors or slow communications related to online bidding. In the event of a tie bid between a floor bidder and an online bidder, the floor bidder will take precedence. The auctioneer's decision in this matter is final.

6. Risk
All lots shall be the sole risk of the Purchaser from the fall of the hammer. The Purchaser shall take all lots in the condition in which he finds them. It is the responsibility of all intending Purchasers to satisfy themselves by inspection of photos or otherwise as to the authenticity in the authorship, date, age, period, condition or quality of any lot prior to the auction. 7. Liability
Neither the Seller of any lot nor the Auctioneers make or give nor has any person in the employment of the Auctioneers any authority to make or give any representation or warranty in relation to any lot and any implied conditions or warranties are excluded. All statements contained in the Catalogue as to the authenticity, attribution, genuineness, origin, authorship, date, age, period, condition or quality of any lot are statements of opinion only and are not to be taken as or implying statements or representations of fact. Lots are sold subject to all faults and errors in description or otherwise. All items sold to purchaser is as is where as - no warranty implied. No refunds or exchanges.
8. Indemnity
The vendor shall duly indemnify Carolina Auctioneers against any claim in connection with any goods sold by Carolina Auctioneers on the vendors behalf.

Payment
2 Invoices will be issued
1st Invoice from Auctionzip/Invaluable System to include: Hammer Price & Buyers Premium Only - This invoice must be paid in full before your items go to our shipping dept. Payment is due within 3 days after the close of the auction. Your Credit Card on file will automatically be charged 4 days after an invoice has been sent if payment has not been made prior.
2nd Invoice from Carolina Estate Sales & Auction Services to include: Shipping & Handling - You will be billed with a separate invoice coming from square and/or PayPal invoice. Once this invoice is paid in full your items will be shipped.
The Purchaser shall pay the Hammer Price together with a buyers premium of 15% of the hammer Price in addition to the 5% premium assessed by auction zip / invaluable. Payments for lots must be made by credit card and/or debit card. Lots will not be released until payment has been cleared by credit/debit card issuing bank. Payment is accepted by Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Credit/Debit cards on file with auctionzip/invaluable for this auction you registered for will be automatically be charged for hammer price and buyers premium charges in full if payment is not made within 4 days of invoice.
All SALES ARE FINAL
We do not accept charge backs. All sales are final and are (as is where as). NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. We may impose a declined credit card fee of $25 if invoice is not paid within 24 hours of declined credit card transaction notification.

Shipping will be handled in-house unless otherwise specified. This is in an effort to maintain the lowest shipping and handling cost for our buyers. We provide handling, packing and shipping services solely as a convenience for our Bidders.
Lots will only be shipped or available for local pickup once payment in full has been received from the Purchaser. Lots will be shipped by auction house using best method - usps, FedEx or ups all packages over $100 will be insured . Shipping costs will be paid by the Purchaser.
Shipping within the United States is completed via US Postal Service or FedEx (which ever is less expensive) with tracking and insurance. For shipping outside of the US, we will use primarily FedEx or USPS, depending on the value of the item and the destination country. All high value packages will require a signature upon delivery. In addition to the actual cost of the shipping and insurance, we do add a nominal per item handling fee. The more items you order, the less the per item handling fee would be.
Our responsibility for damage to or loss of any lot ends once it has been turned over to the USPS, FedEx, or other shipping enterprise for delivery and/or packing. By bidding, the winning Bidder agrees that any and all claims for loss or damage to the lot will be handled solely through the insurance claims process (if insurance was available) or the carrier and acknowledges that insurance may be subject to deductibles or other limitations which are not the responsibility of Carolina Auctioneers. Carolina Auctioneers is not responsible for any loss resulting from items being shipped to an alternate address or recipient provided by Bidder.
NOTE: WE DO SHIP MULTIPLE ITEMS IN A SINGLE PACKAGE WHEN POSSIBLE TO MINIMIZE SHIPPING CHARGES. WE PACK TO MINIMIZE DAMAGE TO PURCHASED ITEMS AND TO CARRIER STANDARDS.
No items will be shipped to any Bidder for any particular auction until all charges for the auction have been paid in full and all funds have cleared. Even if paid in full, no items will be shipped to any Bidder for any particular auction if the Bidder has any balances with Carolina Auctioneers from other auctions which are not in compliance with the provisions of payment above, until such balances are paid in full and all funds have cleared.
