Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A gathering of 3 cast-lead sling bullets that were hurled at high velocity towards their targets. Each diamond-shaped bullet could inflict serious damage upon impact, so trained fighters could wield the sling with deadly accuracy. Size of largest: 1.5" L x 0.8" W x 0.7" H (3.8 cm x 2 cm x 1.8 cm)
