Original 19th Century ( 1850's - 1860's ) Civil War era Dixon & Sons brass double compartment pocket size powder flask with ornate quatrefoil design hinged lids over double compartments, for holding lead balls and percussion caps. The Flask body is in nice condition with only minor pits & has a nice untouched age patina. The spring and charger work as they should and all screws are intact on the top ring. Overall the flask is in very nice condition. The flask measures 4-1/2” high including the charge and is 1-3/4” wide at the widest point and 1 1/4” deep.
