This is a circa 1820 German Black Forest Wag on Wall movement in an American donor case clock. It is a broken arch bonnet with three finials and has a beveled glass door on body and molded waist and over OG bracket. Face hand-painted by unidentified maker. Includes provenance, brass plaque on interior reads "Bought of William O Aren, Yocumtown, Conawaga Township, York, PA on Good Friday, 5 Day of April 1901 by William George Appel of York City, York, PA." The clock measures approx 95" H x 19" W x 11" D.
