Registering for the sale confirms that you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions therein. It is important to closely follow the terms and conditions of the sale in order to ensure a positive and timely transaction. We will not register any buyers who do not have up to date phone number and contact information listed on their profile. We reserve the right to deny any bidders with unpaid item strikes. It is your responsibility to determine if any items that you are bidding are prohibited to be imported to your country of origin. If you purchase a restricted item it will be your responsibility to to determine what you will do with your item. No refunds will be provided for items that you should not have purchased. It is at the sellers discretion to restock the item which a 35% restocking fee may apply.
We require payment within 48 hours after invoice. After four days (96 hours) your card will be charged for the item and will receive a receipt for the charge. If you have not paid after six days an unpaid item dispute will be filed with Invaluable. IF PAYMENT IS NOT MADE IN 30 DAYS WE WILL SEND THE ACCOUNT TO COLLECTIONS AND REPORT IT TO THE CREDIT REPORTING AGENCIES ACCORDINGLY. In the event that Karlan's Arms & Antiques must retain a collection agency or law firm to collect past due balances owed, you agree to pay any and all collection agency fees, court costs, attorney fees or incidental costs associated with collections.
I make every attempt to accurately describe and photograph the items carefully to ensure that you are bidding with confidence. However, we ask that you completely read all of the descriptions and closely examine the photos prior to bidding so you are certain about what you are bidding on. It is your ultimate responsibility to bid on the correct items and we will not cancel or refund any sales due to mistakes you might make when bidding. There is no implied certification of guarantee or authentication for items sold. The total buyer's premium for this sale is a modest 15%, the hammer price does not include buyer's premium or shipping costs.

Please be advised that there is no expressed or implied warranty or guarantee that any of the antique firearms sold are safe to fire or operate. The firearms sold are typically over 120 years old and in many cases are unsafe to fire or operate. They are sold for their historical significance and collectors' value only. Karlan's Arms and Antiques does not endorse or encourage the firing of such weapons and will not be liable from any damage or injury resulting from your use of such weapons. As part of the terms of the sale you expressly agree to waive any liability and understand that you operate or use any weapon sold at your own risk and shall hold Karlan's Arms & Antiques harmless and blameless for any injuries incurred when doing so. We ask that you handle any of the items sold with the highest degree or safety and responsibility. They are not to be used and are sold for their collectible and historical significance only.
We do not ship firearms or swords overseas unless pre approved by seller. Some restrictions apply to shipping edged weapons or guns overseas so you must be pre approved to do so. If you do not seek pre approval and bid regardless, you will be responsible for troubleshooting all customs declarations. In the case you cannot import the item it will be subject to a 35% restocking fee. Any items purchased and paid for need to be scheduled for shipment timely Items will be considered abandoned property after 90 days. Any firearms purchases that will be shipped overseas will need to be completed through your U.S. based shipping agent at your expense and must be pre-approved. We also will not ship firearms directly to you if you reside in a state that prohibits the direct shipping to you. If you are in N.J., Cal., CT., Mass. or any other state that it might require transfer through F.F.L., we will ship to your F.F.L. if you reside in one of those states. It is your responsibility to notify us of that requirement when bidding.
