Shipping

We will gladly ship small items going to bidders within the US. The buyer is responsible for paying for shipping and handling. All glassware may be subject to a small additional packing charge. We only ship items insured. We do not ship large glass covered framed works. Large paintings, rugs, & furniture require professional shipping or pick-up. See complete details for rules.
** INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS*** All international shipments must be done through a third party shipper. We have several local shippers we work with, and will gladly arrange pick up with them, but we DO NOT ship in house internationally.
Furniture & large items we cannot ship in house MUST have shipping arranged withing 7 days of the end of the auction.
***All items not picked up or shipped within 15 days of the close of the auction will be subject to a $10.00 per day storage fee, until fees surpass amount paid, in which case the items will be forfeited .***

Conditions of Sale

Premium: 18% Buyers Premium on all items plus any applicable LIVE fees.

Payment: The buyer must pay the entire amount due (including the hammer price, buyers premium, all applicable taxes and other charges) no later than 5 p.m. on the seventh (7) business day following the sale. Bidder cards on file may be charged 4 days after an invoice has been sent. Payment in U.S. dollars may be made with cash; credit card; bank check or cashiers check drawn on a U.S. bank; money order; or wire transfer unless other arrangements are made with Charleston Estate Auctions. Charleston Estate Auctions, reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by check until the check has cleared the bank. If you do not have any bidding history and are bid on/win jewelry or high value items, we require a verifiable form of payment, or can hold the items for up to 45 days. Verifiable forms of payment are bank checks and Paypal, with confirmed address & credit card on file. The purchaser agrees to pay Charleston Estate Auctions a handling charge of $50 for any check dishonored by the drawee.
