YOU MUST CONTACT ME TO RELEASE YOUR PIECES--they will not be taken to the shipper until you do so. Shipping is done on a first-come, first serve basis.

NO LOTS WON ONLINE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP THE DAY OF THE AUCTION. PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT for PICK UP. Invoices will be sent out day of sale after which you may contact us to make arrangements for pick up.

CONSIDER SHIPPING COSTS INTO YOUR BUDGET. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE LOOKED AT THE SIZE INCLUDING THE FRAME. PIECES UNDER GLASS WEIGH MORE THAN PIECES WITHOUT. If not picking up pieces in person, in all cases packing and shipping will be handled by an outside agent and arranged for by the purchaser. Bakker Auctions will not be responsible for damage or loss once the item has been received by the shipper. In the case of fragile articles, shipping will be undertaken at the sole discretion of the shipper.

BAKKER AUCTIONS USES MAILSPOT EXPRESS IN PROVINCETOWN (508-487-6650). Winning pieces will be hand delivered to Mailspot Express. Please note, Mailspot Express is our only local shipper. An alternative shipper, Eastham Qwik Pack & Ship of Cape Cod (508.240.1775), may be used but you must make arrangements to have the pieces transported there.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING OVERVIEW and ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE. We do our best to make your experience with Bakker a good one. These details will help ensure you are satisfied with your auction experience. SHIPPING: The shipper is a small business that ships for dozens of galleries in Provincetown and for our auctions. They do great work, are reliable, but can get backed up once shipments start arriving. You must contact me to release your shipment before I take it to the shipper. Shipping is done on a first come (first released), first served basis. PLEASE CHECK THE SIZE OF THE LOTS INCLUDING THE FRAMED DIMENSIONS. Note that large pieces under glass can be quite heavy. Also note that once pieces are shipped past the Mississippi, rates increase. PREVIEW: In person previews can be made by appointment only. If you are not local, I would be happy to send you a short video of the pieces in which you are interested or or we could even FaceTime. Just email for details. info@bakkerproject.com Please read the condition of the lots. Most estimates reflect the value of the art without the frame. The frames come with the art, but you are purchasing the art. In some obvious cases the frames are quite valuable and their estimates have been adjusted to reflect that. We do not have access to your credit card until 4 business days after the auction. We request that rather than wait for us to process those cards, you initiate payment via the online payment platform. Otherwise it means our having to write to you to confirm that is what you want us to do---it’s just another step and delay in the process.
