All announcements made on the DAY of the auction take precedence over any printed material.
Mebane Antique Auction Gallery is providing internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to the bidder. The bidder acknowledged and understands that this service may or may NOT function correctly on the day of the auction. Under NO circumstances shall the bidder have any kind of claim against Mebane Antique Auction Gallery or anyone else if the internet services fail to work correctly before or during the live auction. Mebane Antique Auction Gallery is not responsible for any bids missed from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their MAXIMUM bid 24 hours before the live auction begins.

Payment
PAYMENT:
The payment method is at the discretion of the auctioneer. Any invoice over $1,000 will be reviewed by the auction gallery and a payment via wire transfer or certified funds may be requested. Mebane Antique Auction will email you at the end of the sale the wire transfer details to process the payment.
All payments are due immediately, in full, in U.S. Funds. Winning bidder is responsible to contact Mebane Antique Auction Gallery. If payment is not received within 3 business days you will forfeit your lots and a UPI strike will be put against you. We accept cash (in-house bidding/pick-up only), cashier's check, wire transfers, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. The Buyer's Premium is part of the purchase price, as is sales tax if applicable. We reserve the right to hold all goods paid for by check until payment has cleared.
NC Sales Tax
We are required to charge North Carolina sales tax at the current rate unless you provide us with a valid resale number at registration. No sales tax is charged for purchases shipped out of state. Property picked up at Mebane Antique Auction Gallery is subject to North Carolina sales tax, even if you live out-of-state (unless you provide us with a valid resale number).
Shipping Terms
***** PLEASE READ***** We will NOT be shipping NEON Signs. If you purchase online or out of town you will be required to arrange the pick up of any neons purchased. We encourage pick ups for all items. We are open for pick up Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Items won by bidders other than NEON SIGNS will be shipped through the United States Post Office Insured Mail and/or Registered Mail UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED BY BUYER.
Buyer is responsible for paying ACTUAL shipping cost (postage AND insurance) and a $5-$10 per box packaging material fee, which will be charged to the buyer's credit card as soon as the item is ready to be shipped.
