The vintage and antique clothing collection of Mara Parmegiani, renowed Italian period costume historian and fashion journalist, is a labour of love, made of painstakingly hand-picked pieces, as a result of decades of passionate research in Italy and abroad and  her relentlessy studies on the authenticity and craftmanship of the materials they are made of.

The collection, that includes items dating from the first half of the 19th century to the years ninety of the 20th century, is characterized by the exceptional high quality of the pieces, the preciousness of the materials they are made of and the refinement of execution in the finishing touches,  along with its antiques and social-historical value.

The whole lot of clothing is divided into 5 sections:

1. women's underwear;

2. children

3. women's dresses;

4. hats;

A small section is dedicated to clothing worn by serving staff of noble families.

- in Milan, Italy;
