Wally James was born in Woodstock, Ontario, the heart of Ontario auction country. He is a married father of three and a resident of Apsley for OVER 30 years.
While pursuing a lifelong interest in collectibles and antiques, Mr. James has amassed several large collections over the years. As a boy, his first collection was old bottles, mostly found partially buried in defunct landfill sites.
His passion for collecting has since expanded to many other areas, including antique game boards, keys, marbles and vintage toys.
In 2005, Mr. James became a qualified auctioneer and started his own auction service, Apsley Auctions.
He specializes in antiques, collectibles, art and the unique and unusual.
