 Session 2 5:00 PM - ITEMS OF SPECIAL INTEREST: 2 important antique documents from local estate to include 2 historical warrant documents issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The earliest is a warrant for a treasury payment to Isaac Torrey of Scituate, a pensioner in the sum of 5 pounds in full for one year pension ending in June 1790 signed September 15, 1790 by (Gov.) John Hancock (and Secretary John Avery and Treasurer Alex Hodgdon). The other document is Commonwealth of Massachusetts warrant to pay Col. Lewis Ansart, Inspector of the Foundries the sum of 166.66 pounds in full for one quarter salary signed January 26, 1796 by S. Adams (Samuel) as well as Secretary John Avery and Treasurer Thomas Davis Esq. Both documents are framed and bear the endorsements on the reverse of each of Mr. Torrey and Mr. Ansart.  

ANTIQUE LIGHTING COLLECTION: A private Boston collection of 19thC lighting to include beautiful girandole sets some with reverse painting, Astral lamps, bronze and brass candelabras, (some attributed to H. Hooper Boston Co.), oil lamps, hanging lanterns, and more from Boston Brownstone.
