Also has Divisions Of Standards decal on scale from the State of Illinois for the year 1941 that really adds to the look of this scale. Nice original gold paint with black pinstriping and brass trim along with the DAYTON name in bold letters. Has general patina throughout from age and use. This particular scale is rated up to 4 lbs. 208 - Symphonian Musicwerkes Antique Music Box Symphonian Musicwerkes antique music box, circa. 1900. This was made in Leipzig, Germany. This is a beautiful example of a symphonian 12” disc music box in rococo style carved wood cabinet. It plays 12” discs across dual combs with non-perforated discs. There are no breaks or repairs to the dual combs. It shows an oak interior with walnut rococo cabinet, showing some wear and areas of scuffs in the highpoints of the rococo cabinet but does not diminish the overall looks of this standout music box. There is a man and woman dancing on the lid of the music box. On the underside of the lid, there is a colorful cloth picture of a man and women with the Symphonian name above them. Front of cabinet has a lock but does not come with a key. It comes with a removable crank and 3 of the metal discs. Music box is complete and in working condition. 209 - Vintage Uranium Glass Foster’s Fruit Beverages Vintage Foster’s Fruit Beverages dispenser. This was distributed by Foster’s Citrus Concentrates, Inc. out of New York City. The base is made of heavy pressed glass. Looks black but more of a plum color against the light. The top is glass with the handle of the lid also glass. The glass has a frosted pattern with leaves with the LASH’s name of the maker embossed in the glass. There is an orange and black label in both the front and back. The standout part of this dispenser is that the globe is uranium glass and under a black light has a very bright green glow. What a standout and beautiful piece that is in very good condition. There are two very small nicks at the bottom of the base and some wear on both labels. The seal on the spigot will need to be tightened or replaced to use as intended. The crate has the Peters red and black label on both ends identifying that the crate held 500 12 gauge loaded shells. Victor No. 5117 3-1-7 Smokeless and Rustless. On the front and back of the crate in large black lettering is ‘PETERS, Small Arms Ammunition, Peters Cartridge Division, Remmington Arms Company, Inc., Kings Mills, Ohio, USA’. The top opening has been updated with 5 well-made pull-out shelves with the metal ends of 12 gauge shells being the handles, two on each shelf that really add style. Shelves all have a smooth finish but match the color of the original wood crate with its age and use patina. An added bonus is that the top shelf has a lift out Waterman’s Ideal Fountain Pen wood tray with red felt in ridged rows to hold 19 pens. The lock is on a rod that holds a cap on the base to access coins and also released the metal retainer below the globe to access gumballs. These were designed in France. This particular piece is named “Les Fabuleux Fifties” / “The Fabulous Fifties”. It depicts a late 1950s convertible with super tall tail fins. The car is zooming down the road, top down and full of teenagers. Not a lot of paved roads back then so the car has some dirt splattered across the sheet metal. Back in the era when your car is who you are. The artist presents his vision of the modern world in all its absurdity through comic art. These sculptures combine the artist’s clever sense of humor with a strong satirical wit. Some of the Perk Up machines were pill dispensers to help you with the effects of alcohol, driving drowsy or feeling tired. These were all considered pure, safe and non-habit forming. Production of the cycle truck started in 1939 for use as delivery vehicles for grocery stores, paper routes, and in factories and large campuses to deliver mail. These cycle trucks were made for many years. The year of this cycle truck is unknown but has been restored with all hand pained striping and labels (including Warner Brothers Pictures emblem and Mail Delivery lettering). Two of the small Schwinn emblems are decals. Looks like a brass Schwinn nameplate on the front of the bike. Restored as a Warner Brothers themed lot mail delivery bicycle. Cycle truck is in very good condition, chrome is excellent, paint has a few minor chips. There is one small scuff on side of bike seat. Great colors, great condition and a great display piece. A very nice example of a coin-operated music box with dual combs. It has serial number 569148. Music box comes with original disc holding stand, are original mahogany. Shows light areas of wear and surface scratching to a replaced finish. There are cherub decals on the case and a mural insert on the inside of the top that needs to be reattached. Still has the original removable crank, celluloid tags, coin entry mechanism and one replaced soundboard on the interior. It is fully operational, with no breaks or repairs to the dual combs. This special can is made of copper and includes a wire handle and a very nice wood grip. Come with the metal screw on/off cap. The neck below the lid has the name ‘ITP Lamp Dewar Mfg Co., Brooklyn, N.Y. U.S.A. Has a patent date of Jun. 11, 1918. Can has minor age and use wear and is dry inside with no corrosion damage. 258 - Antique Probat Show Jar Countertop Display Antique Probat Type 31 No. 1 show jar countertop display from Heerenberg, Holland. Glass container with metal pull down lid was used to display candy sitting on a countertop. Lid is spring driven for an easy return to be a tight fit. It could also be opened flat where the lid would remain open. This might have been used in the local drug store, using a different one for each different type of candy for sale. Has a metal clip on the bottom that was used to secure to a metal framework. More than one could be placed in this metal framework structure where the display would not be horizonal but would be angled downward in back. Easy to see the candy without the candy being exposed. The original metal framed sign on this machine identifies it as distributing Pistachio Nuts. The bottom doors are for merchandise and coin return. Both types of coins were tested. Measures 9” tall with pole, 9” long and 4.754” wide. - Auto Art Disc Brake/Caliper clock. Mounted on a metal base and backing plate. Suspension moves up and down showing action on the shock absorber. The brakes move left and right as wood the wheel on your car. At the center of the disc brakes is a clock. The clock is battery operated, uses a N size 1.5 volt battery. Did not have a battery to test for working ability. A very nice detail and movable display piece. Measures 4.75” tall, 4” wide and 4.5” deep. - General Tire, rubber tire/ashtray. Tire shows the tread of a General Steelex Radial passenger car tire. In very good condition. Ashtray measures 1.75” tall and 6.25” in diameter. - Ford Motor Company metal Genuine Bulb and Fuse Kit, part no. 18407 sold through your Ford dealer. Blue paint with the Ford crest showing age and use wear. Some of the paint is missing on the lid. The lid is hinged and contains some bulbs inside. Tin measures 1.5” tall, 3.5” wide and 2.5” deep. - Classic Car coasters – set of 4 drink coasters with the Duesenberg, Packard, Stutz and Auburn 12 emblems in the form of hubcaps. These brands were the 1920s/1930s supreme luxury cars. Coasters have a black metal frame. The are from Gallery Originals Henry Ford Museum dated 1984. Group of coaster measures 2.5” tall and 3.75” in diameter. - Mercury car wheel center cap showing the Mercury name and their last symbol used. Mercury Division of Ford Motor Company ended production in 2011. Has a wire back making it easy to hang up. In very good condition. Measures 1” tall and 6.25” in diameter. - Mobil 5 gallon can, miniature display, very detailed with the metal handle and wood grip. Great display piece. There is one broken tooth to the Nichole Freres marked comb. It shows a correctly identified baseplate and should play well. It has the original tune card and a label for the distributor on the inside of the lid. The cabinet shows little wear. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs. The left side panel flips down for the key wind and adjustments (includes key). The cabinet has a front lock but does not come with a key for that lock. This childs bank is shaped like a rocket with a spring loaded coin sled that is pulled back and held in place by the pilots head, while a coin is placed in front of the sled, the head is pushed down and the spring released, the coin shoots into the receptacle and into the bank. A variation of the High Top, this slot machine is in bright red with black name plate and payouts. This slot machine is unique in that it is attached to the stand it is on. The lower front of the slot machine where a payout would fall into is covered with a polished metal plate. A payout would fall directly into a round tray in the top of the stand. The coins in the back also fall directly into a bag in the stand that replaces the tray in the back of the machine. The machine was tested with a dime and appears to work as designed. The slot machine is in very good condition with minor wear on the payout chart. The Formica stand is a light color with some usage wear that includes some scrapes and a missing piece of Formica on the left bottom front panel. The Machine comes with two keys for the slot machine and one key for the lock on the stand door. Part of the cabinet lock is included but needs to be put back on the cabinet to lock the door. 332 - Vintage Ask Swami Diner Fortune Teller Coin Op Super cool vintage “Ask Swami” fortune teller coin operated napkin holder. While waiting at the diner for your order to arrive you can bide your time getting your fortune. Pretty reasonable price at only 1 cent for each question you have. This was mounted in the booth with napkins available from both sides. Two clips on the back may have been for storing the menu. The directions ask you to ask question that can be answered yes or no. It gives you a list of seven “Suggested Questions”. The paper coming out would give you your fortune and predictions. Deposit one penny and pull down on lever. A test was made with one penny and the fortune/prediction came out and the coin went into the bottom tray. The unit comes with a key to add more slips and get access to the coins. Unlock the front panel and it lifts off. There are still a few of the fortune / prediction paper remaining inside. The unit looks to be fully complete, initial test showed that it was working. The chrome finish is worn and the Coca-Cola napkins are old. A tag on the front states that this was Distributed by Texas Associated Enterprises, Amarillo, Texas. Has the Northwestern Model 33 decal on the globe which is not often seen. The decal states ‘You’ll Like These Delicious Fresh Salted Peanuts Try Some 1¢’. Decal is in very good condition. The standout enameled goldenrod yellow base has one of the rare and unusual design patterns. Tested with a penny and mechanism would not let the penny go in far enough to allow the handle to swing across. May just need to be adjusted. Overall appearance is very good. Scale shows an original porcelain base column and top head. It has the original front glass and baseplate. There is not backdoor to the scale. The baseplate shows some wear and oxidation, primarily to the footpad. It is a very showy scale, the curved plate on top states ‘You Get Your Correct Weight FREE If You Put Coin In Right Slot’. The curved plate on the right is the coins slot stating ‘Drop Coin Here’. You have three slots to choose from. Pick the right slot to put your nickel in and you can get your weight for free. The curved plate on the bottom clearly lets you know this is a Watling scale. Below that is a coin return tray if you are lucky enough to pick the right slot and get your nickel back. On the face of the scale it gives you ideal weight by height for men and women. The scale is currently not working. There is no key for the plate at the base of the rear of the scale to access coins. Has 3 original cigarette reel strips and awards card in addition to a working gumball dispenser. Machine has an older repaint with original door and new lock with key in back. A great display piece showing the gumballs on one side and a mirror on the other side. The reels still look good as well as the awards card. The case is red in front and top with the sides in gray with red stripes. The back panel is black. The machine was tested with one cent, the lever pulled and the reels spun. Also, for each play a gumball was awarded (this could be tested since there were still some gumballs inside the machine). The key was tested in the back and did unlock the back cover. 390 - Antique Pressed Steel Keystone Packard Tow Truck Antique larger size pressed steel Packard tow truck built by Keystone Mfg Co, Boston, Mass. Looks to be compete except for tow rope and hook that can easily be added. The truck has equal patina throughout due to age and usage. There has been some red paint touchup in the past on some areas. The truck came red with the whole towing equipment in yellow. The red is still obvious and the yellow still shows through in some areas. Packard was mainly a luxury car and the Packard “detail” is displayed very well in this model being reflected in the front radiator shell. You can still make out most of the Packard decal at the top of the radiator shell. On both ends of the seat is the oval “EMERGENCY” decal. On the floor on the passenger side is a decal “Packard MODEL GUARENTEED, Built by the Keystone Mfg. Co, Boston, Mass.”. On both sides of the box in the rear is the “KEYSTONE WRECKER 78”. The rubber tires are complete and in good condition for the age. On the tires is molded “HOOD BALLOON TIRE, Made for Keystone Mfg. Co. Boston Mass. The tow equipment swings 360 degrees. It currently does not turn up and down but looks like all hardware is complete. May just need to be oiled up to free up the screw mechanism. The steering wheel turns the front wheels with ease as was designed. A nice large toy with great detail that displays very well in its present condition. A great piece for the toy collector. The arcade shows the 10 levels of your strength from ‘Poor Fish’ to ‘Champion’ and corresponds with 100 to 1000 points, 100 for each level of strength. At front is the chrome grip and coin slot. Directions are to drop one cent into slot and then squeeze handles together slowly. This is a no electricity game. The machine is considered untested. One inside metal cabinet is rusty at the base and would be easy to replace. No damage to the outside of door. Brass Hardware on hinges and towel racks. Back Bar features 2 enclosed lights and 4 fancy lights with globes. Porcelain Outlets and Switches are located on front of bar so that blenders and such can be plugged in for easy use. 400 - Rare 1950s German Hohm Instructional Model Car Rare 1950s German A Hohm HD 62 driving school instructional model by Hohm Modelle Co. of Germany from the post was era. This is a cutaway demonstration model constructed from metal and alloy parts, a model chassis, with articulated controls. Has left hand drive steering, lights, transmission, clutch, suspension, rear differential, brakes, rolling wheels with rubber tires with some cutaway sections. Car has a clear plastic 4-cylinder engine casing showing working pistons, valves, and spark plugs. Due to the compact size of the car, some of the controls and switches are mounted on the base. The wiring and electric motor are under the base. The steering wheel turns the front wheels and you can see the steering gear in operation. An initial test of the car slows the headlights, tail lights, license plate lights working. The cutaway of the transmission shows the gears moving and the pistons are going up and down in the motor with a light simulating the firing of the spark plugs. At present the transmission is not shifting into gears as designed preventing the turning of the real wheels. Part of the brake system needs to be reattached that would stop the rear wheels upon applying the brake pedal. In overall great condition, some paint wear on front fenders. A great display piece for the car guy and mostly usable as is. Does not come with any other table.
