85 - Crow Indian Painted Knife & Parfleche Sheath Parfleche sheath handpainted with chokecherries. A staple in the diet of the Lakota Sioux. Bone handle knife attributed to the Crow tribe, has black painted 6.25" blade, in which the handle has been carved into a bear's head. Sheath measures 4" x 12". Knife measures 12" overall.
86 - Parfleche Indian Double Trade Knife Set Rare trade knife set (two knives and dual sheath) in painted parfleche scabbard. Knife one blade length 7", overall length 11". Knife two blade length 9.5", overall length 14".
87 - Blackfeet Indian Carved & Beaded Bag Knife Rare Blackfeet tribe beaded & painted rawhide sheath with leather straps, would've hung like a satchel. The sheath holds a custom made jaw-bone handle knife, apparently made of a scavenged Civil War foot soldier sword blade tip (2.25" x 6.5"). The knife is bolstered with hand forged nails, wire and leather wrap. Pommel end is decorated with horse hair to resemble a bird. Knife measures 12.5" overall length.

96 - Indian Beaded Sheath & Brass-Tacked Patch Knife Beaded sheath with brass-tacked patch knife, used for cutting leather muzzleloader patches. Sheath measures (2.5" x 12"). Knife has 2.75" blade, leaded bolster, brass-tacked over a really good figured wood handle. Overall length 8"

100 - Sharps .40 Wyoming Shipped Buffalo Rifle SN 88726. Iron Springs, Wyoming shipped Sharps .40 caliber rifle. Rare R.S. Lawrence conversion. 24" heavy octagon barrel with good rifling. Single trigger. Very nice action and wood. Barrel retains a good percentage of bluing, action is even gray patina. Antique.
101 - Sharps Custom Deluxe Denver Shipped Buffalo Rifle SN C53635, Sharps historian notes this rifle was originally ordered in 1871 to General Hawley of Hartford, Connecticut. Joseph Roswell Hawley, being a Major General of Volunteers during the Civil War, along with owner of the Hartford Courant Newspaper, and future politician, this gun was likely a gift, factory returned. No other historic notes Sharps mentions in between this invoice, then finally being shipped in 1874 to John P. Lower, Sporting Goods dealer in Denver CO. Early Sharps by the Sharps Rifle Manufacturing Co. 28" barrel with rifling still present. Marked Fruend Bros on barrel. Double set triggers. Even finish retaining some bluing, stock in very good shape. Hammer spring works but will not hold in cocked position. Includes copy of Sharps Rifle Company historian letter. Antique.
102 - Factory Engraved 1864 Henry Rifle Serial #5384. Original factory engraving by Samuel J. Hoggson on the receiver and buttplate. Hoggson performed most of the engraving work for New Haven Arms Company on earlier Henry Rifles. The rifle is floral engraved, with the left sideplate engraved with dog hunt scene. Original German silver front sight. "H" mark is stamped in lower tang, serial number found at the top rear of the barrel. Assembly number 579 is clearly found under the loading sleeve. Cloverleaf buttplate, Deluxe walnut buttstock, scalloped buttplate indicates this may be a "one-of-a-kind" rifle, as stated in provenance letter. 23" barrel, .44 caliber. Exceptional condition considering age and use. Provenance: WY.A copy of a Letter of Authenticity from Rob Kassab, former director and president of Winchester Arms Collectors Association. Rifle handed down through the Tyler Family, distant relatives to Benjamin Tyler Henry (provenance from family documents and ancestry). Other collectors notes to accompany the lot. Antique.

104 - Smith & Wesson No. 3 Target Model .44 Russian SN 33885, copy of S&W Historian letter notes shipment on February 12, 1903 to Andre, Schaub & Pioso, Paris, France, and New York City. Excellent condition finish and function. 8" barrel, target sights. Pearl grips with extra set of Buffalo Horn grips. Gun retains very high percentage of finish. Antique.
105 - Jim Aplan's Ranch Brand Engraved Colt 1873 SAA .45 SN 328703. Ranch Brand engraved Colt Single Action Army, personally ordered by Jim Aplan notorious Cowboy, Rodeo Clown, and Colt SAA Collector. Full coverage engraving by Charlie Baker, of early South Dakota cattle brands and ranch brands of Jim Aplan's personal family and friends. Ivory grips with carved Indian head motif on right side. 4 5/8" barrel, tight action and excellent condition. Includes folder on Jim Aplan and Charlie Baker, with copy of Jim Aplan letter noting serial number and ranch brands. Modern.
106 - Colt 1873 SAA Early Nickel NY Shipped .44-40 SN 62969, Colt Factory letter copy notes Hartley & Graham, New York shipped January 5, 1881. Rare early nickel finish. 7.5" barrel, tight action, dark bore. Period Ivory grips. Retains approximately 40% of original nickel finish, Antique.
107 - San Antonio Police Department Shipped Colt SAA .45 SN 350893. Marked S.A.P.D. No. 85 under pearl grips. Modern.
109 - Winchester Arms & Ammunition Advertising Sign 41 1/2" long made of one piece of thick steel in original paint. Diecut of a lever action Winchester rifle. Missing hanging bracket. The sign has "Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven Conn." stamped into the metal.
110 - Scarce Mike Morales Hallmarked Moon & Stars Spurs Rare Mike Morales hallmarked, half moon pattern with 5-point star rowels. Original appearing floral pattern tooled leather straps, also equipped with heel chains.
111 - Crockett Marked Paddy Ryan Pattern Spurs Silver overlay with arrow shank, 6-point 2.25" rowels. Contemporary but nicely done basket-weave tooled leather straps, held on by large 2" concho buttons.

113 - Rawlins Wyoming Prison Made Spurs Scarce non-offset shank pattern from Rawlins Prison examples. Large strap conchos feature bronc rider scene. 8-point 1.75" rowels.

116 - Unmarked Personalized Custom Spurs Dated 1889 Double mounted with "XXX" on heelband of one side, with feather along shank. Dated May 8,1889 on opposite side shank inlay, partially legible initials "AWK" on heelband inlay. Attributed to ranch near Gillette, Wyoming. Features 2.5" large Texas lone star gear rowels, along with period floral carved leather straps.
117 - Canon City Prison Rare Split Shank Spurs No other known examples of "Cheyenne" split shank spurs produced from Canon City prison. Single mounted overlay with floral engraved design.
118 - Rex Schnitger Attributed Spurs A product of Cheyenne spur making, Schnitger eventually opened shop in Gillette, Wyoming, before going to partner with Bohlin in Hollywood in the 1920's. Schnitger typically left his work unmarked. features his signature Cheyenne split heel, along with star strap button and inlay style. Scarcely seen spur maker example.

127 - Very Rare Orig Tooled Henry Rifle Scabbard Visalia Attributed to Visalia. Featured on page 91 of "Cowboys & The Trappings of the Old West", by William Manns and Elizabeth Clair Flood. Large Seahorse motif is carved in it surrounded by floral leaf scrolling. Attributed to Visalia. 31" long, mouth opening is 5..5".

247 - "Chief Medicine Crow", Ron Rundo Original Painting Chief Medicine Crow was born around 1848. For over 20 years he was an active warrior and member of the Knobbed Sticks warrior society. In 1876 he led the Crow Scouts who fought for the U.S. Army against the Sioux at the Battles of the Rosebud and Little Big Horn. After the wars, he became a farmer and Tribal Judge.
