The poster is approximately 27" x 40". There is very light toning around the edges and very light wear overall. The poster has been stored folded.

Lot: 160 - "La Nuit" Signed And Numbered William Cotton Print

Signed and numbered print "La Nuit" Number 149/150. William Cotton, Artist, began his career after graduating from the renowned Cooper Union in New York. He quickly was recognized as a leader in abstract illusion. These serigraphs are examples of his early works. Each serigraph is 35”x 27” and in limited editions of 150 each. They are mixed media, utilizing photography and layers of acrylic color. The artist finishes the process by hand with the addition of airbrushing and individually applied strokes of acrylic on each work. William Cotton has shown at prestigious galleries in New York, including the Mary Boone Gallery, and also in France, Germany, and Finland. His recent works command thousands of dollars and is considered a staple in the American community of artists.
