Item - 1.This entire accumulation of tins, boxes and cans were used in the woodshop to organize nails and assorted hardware. Small products and antique advertising items were discovered in the bottom of tool boxes and in shop drawers giving an indication to the age of this woodworking shop.

Item - 2 A beautiful antique eleven-drawer spice cabinet.

Farmhouse wall-hanging spice cabinet with the original stenciled drawers reading: ‘Mace’, ‘Ginger’, ‘Cloves’, ‘Allspice’, ‘Mustard’, ‘Nutmeg' and ‘Cinnamon’. This 130 year old cabinet measures 10″ wide and 24" high. An exceptional all-original primitive spice cabinet found in great condition.

 Locate in the showcase area.

Item - 3 Victorian Walnut Parlor Table.

This Victorian walnut parlor table has been in Mrs Nye's family for 3 generations! In the 1930s this table decorated the home of Harry & Ada Wood of Cincinnati. Mrs Nye inherited the lamp table shortly after the Nye's  wedding in Paris France.

Item - 4 Antique Govenor Winthrop Secretary Bookcase in Mahogany.

A favorite piece of furniture in many American homes. The slant-front secretary bookcase offers tons of organizing opportunities in a smart, compact space. Large drawers, a writing surface with pigeon holes &  pen drawers, as well a glass-front display case for heirlooms or old leather bound books.

The old writing surface with original leather corners has been with this secretary desk for nearly 100 years.

In good original, first finish condition. The scrollwork shows no damage or repairs.

Item - 5 Stereoptic viewer and a thick stack of stereoptic views.

Also known as a Stereopticon, this item had great entertainment and educational value in a late 19th/ early 20th Century home.

This unit is more decorative than many having both  maple and cherry wood. 100% complete.

Item - 6 Wall-mount candle box/match safe.

Handmade in the 19th Ceentury by a tinsmith. This unit would hold wooden stick matches on one side and spent matches on the other, each side offering a strike surface. Candles were a valued household commodity.and used down to the final inch or untill it hurt, which ever came first.

Item - 7 Ornate wrought-iron patio set.

This Mid Century iron patio set is endurable as it is charming. Four strong chairs with cushioned seats. The upholstery is fine and ready to entertain, or easy to recover if you want it to coordinate with your current patio colors.

A little surface rust speaks of the age of this vintage set. I think it looks great over the white paint.

Item - 8 Vintage aluminum patio glider.

This vintage aluminum glider looks like a tall cool tropical drink enjoyed at an island resort.

The fabric and accent pillows are still fresh and covered right over the original vinyl. (The glider is on a covered porch, out of reach of direct sun and rain).

The family member that re-covered this glider tells us "The glider cushions are original to the glider I covered the cushions (probably 20 years ago!) being careful not to alter the original cushions in any way. The cushions are dark green, plastic/vinyl (I don’t really know what that material is actually). They were well used but as I remember, no tears. Padding was lean so I added extra padding under the fabric I used."

The seat cushion is all original with a wooden frame and built-in springs.

This is a track-base glider. Currently it is not gliding smoothly, it may simply need grease or some new roller bearings. You can buy new bearings at ACE or True Value Hardware.
