Other categories include sporting art, antique Garden furniture & decorations, old master paintings & portraits, period lighting, a large library including fine bindings, Chinese & European porcelains, 18th & early 19th century English & American furniture and decorative arts, fine carpets, clocks, antique prints, Georgian sterling silver and silver plate, Cartier cufflinks and pins, Baccarat and Orrefors tableware, and a closet full of bolts of fabric. Over 550 lots. Martha attended Vassar College, earned a BA degree from Hunter College, and a degree in interior design from Parsons School of Design. She was an interior designer, an avid gardener, and collector of antiques who loved historic houses.
