SEALED BID AUCTION
The Mount Airy/Surry County Airport Authority has declared surplus and resolved to sell 3 houses in Surry County, NC.
There is no online bidding. To bid on each house, you must fill out the Sealed Bid form under the Documents tab above.
Forms may be delivered to the Rogers Realty & Auction office at 1310 EMS Dr., Mt. Airy, NC or emailed to susan@rogersrealty.com.
Bidding will begin on Monday, Oct. 2
Bids must be received on or before Monday, October 16, 2023 by 12:00pm

The sealed bid is for the house only! The lot is not included!
Closing is to be on or before November 18th, 2023.
The house is to be moved within 90 days of closing.
A deposit of 5% will be due on or before October 18th, 2023.
A 10% buyer’s premium will be added to the sealed bid amount.
Example: Sealed Bid $40,000 buyer is paying $44,000 for house and will put a deposit down of $2,200.00.
If the buyer does not close, the buyer forfeits 5% deposit.
The buyer is responsible for all costs associated with moving the house! Neither the Mount Airy/Surry County Airport Authority or Rogers Realty & Auction Company will be held liable for expenses or incidents related to moving the house.
