This LIVE-ONLINE simulcast sale differs from our typical online auctions. Our live online sales offer pre-bidding up until the time the auction is scheduled to begin closing like usual. At this time, however, instead of bidding with a countdown timer as three lots close per minute, we will go LIVE via a video and audio broadcast and begin clerking the sale in real-time, taking competing bids from both our auction platform and third-party national auction platform partners from other bidders around the world. If you are unable to bid in real-time during the online broadcasted sale, PLEASE make sure to leave your max bids ahead of time to not avoid missing out on this fantastic array of items.
This important sale, totaling nearly 225 lots with more to be added in the coming days is our finest coin auction yet! Highlights include a good selection of ancient coins from Rome, Greece, and beyond; important and exceptionally high grade scarce coins from around the word, a smattering of foreign and domestic gold, Continental Currency going back to the days of the American Revolution, and what is likely one of the largest single collections of high grade Franklin silver half dollars to appear within the same auction anywhere in the nation in recent history, with just about every example exhibiting toning spanning the colors of the rainbow.
AUCTION CLOSING:
This auction opened for bidding on Tuesday, January 25th and will GO LIVE for online bidding in real-time on Sunday, February 5th at 10am AKDT (2pm EST).
