This is a rare and highly unusual piece of vintage American advertising made for General Electric or G.E. by Rookwood in the form of a ceramic or porcelain ashtray consisting of two interlocking light bulbs. It's appropriately marked on the bottom with both the GE logo and dated by Rookwood 1949 in their usual Roman numerals. It has a truly beautiful dark maroon or oxblood red color and is in excellent condition throughout. For the serious Rookwood collector.
