1. Very Rare 1929 Goodrich Silvertowns Tires Window Display Sign: Early 20th Century; Original, four-part window display, the back tri-fold measures 40” height, 60” width, titled Goodrich Silvertowns. Center light up headlight car measures 18.5” height, 34” width, lower left is marked Ketterlinus, Phil. Two die cut tires 31.5” height, 15.75” width. Back of tri-fold retains original Goodrich Silvertown Dazzle Window Display directions by B. F. Goodrich Rubber Co. Akron, Ohio. This extremely rare new discovery appears to be complete and all original, with beautiful colors throughout. Tri-fold has a wonderful die cut marquee top with beautiful rainbow colors or sunburst background. The light up centerpiece is a 1929 convertible car with Silvertown marked spare tires on running board, beautiful scene of man and woman with sunshine coming through windshield. Back of car has original cardboard light up box that reflects through the front headlights. Two cardboard cutout Goodrich Silvertown tires flank this display, one having red rim and yellow. Condition; appears to be unaltered, light bulb and cord has been replaced, easel backs for tires are missing, tri-fold has paper litho loss in the seams, minor staining and some litho at bottom is loose. Car has edge wear, minor litho loss, litho at headlights have minor separations. The pair of tires has minor edge wear, some creases, and missing easel backs. Overall, this is an extremely rare example of early 20th century illustration art. After extensive research and consulting with experts, we believe this to be the only known complete example. 2. Original Firestone Tires Art Deco Porcelain Marquee Sign: Early 20th Century; Original, 36" height, 107" width, outstanding original single sided sign, bottom center of sign is marked A-773 Made In USA A5A5, has chips around all mounting holes, otherwise outstanding and original condition with bright sharp colors. 10. Very Rare Case Tractors Eagle Old Abe Showroom Sign: Early 20th Century; Original, 58” height, 24” globe, extremely rare and important dealership showroom display titled Case, outstanding paper mache composition. Has beautiful American bald eagle perched on world globe. Center of globe is marked Case, and mounted to original base. After close inspection, condition is original, has paint flakes throughout, otherwise an outstanding early 20th century figural advertising display. After extensive research, we were unable to find another paper mache example for the interior of a dealership showroom. Most examples that are documented are cast iron. 12. Rare Original N.C. Auto Parts Neon Car Dealers Sign: Early 20th Century; Original, car 22" height, 90" width, 11" depth, extremely rare and important piedmont North Carolina 1930’s two sided exterior sign titled Auto Parts on each side. What makes this sign so unique and rare, this sign is in the form of a 1930’s automobile. Also, signed by the original artist/sign maker Grim. It is structurally sound with original hanging brackets, neon is missing. This would be an outstanding rare example after professional restoration. Has beautiful mustard painted surface with dark green lettering. Interior has two fixed shelves, construction shows cut nails. Overall condition is outstanding and original with bright colors, structurally sound, with minor scratches and wear throughout. Applied For with reception instructions For Maximum Efficiency For Local In distance Reception, Add 15 To 25 Ft Aerial. For foreign reception add 40 to 50 Ft Outdoor Aerial. Two-band radio, with tone controls, original back, with antenna wire, complete with all tubes on original adjustable stand, on replacement base. Diameter Window: 19/20th Century; Original, 73.25” diameter, leaded glass window in a 92” x 78” wooden frame, very important American art nouveau Tiffany style leaded glass window. Center medallion has four spade shape leaves surrounded by radius arches. Window is in excellent original condition with only one 6” x 4” loss on edge. Please view photos. Outstanding Antique Apothecary Pharmacy Store Wall Cabinet: 19/20th Century; Original 2 part cabinet, 99.25” height, 167” length, base 25.25” depth, top unit 14.25” depth, outstanding original two piece wall unit with beautiful crown molding, scalloped top, with 19.25” height top shelf, 12” height middle shelf, 11.7/8” lower shelf, shelves are fixed. Has 12 upper drawers measuring 5” x 12.5” with original brass hardware. Lower shelf is 10” height with base molding. Lower counter has 12 center drawers measuring 6.5” x 21.75”, flanked by two drawers and two blind doors with dovetail construction. Base has base molding, cabinet is completely handmade, appears to be a beautiful high grade solid white pine, all hinges and hardware are intact. 391. 1964 Mountain Dew Hillbilly Original Tin Litho NOS Sign: Mid 20th Century; Original, incredible vintage discovery, 35.5” height, 59.75” width, tin litho self framed marquee sign titled Drink Mountain Dew It’ll Tickle Yore Innards!, with artwork of hillbilly holding jug with shooting cork going through his hat. Sign has never been altered, and has its original 8 mounting holes. Lower right is marked A-M, Inc, Lynchburg, Va, 10-64. Interior of sign has no visible damage whatsoever. Sign has never been cleaned, outer frame is completely all original, and has not been bent, top left corner has tiny paint chip, top edge has very minor edge paint flake, otherwise overall excellent and original. This example reflects light almost like a mirror, and has never been exposed to the elements of weather. We encourage all serious Mountain Dew collectors to view this sign in person.
