Lot: 3001 - R.H. WOODS "CLASSIC" (2 PC) SPLIT BAMBOO 7 1/2' FLY ROD BY CONSTABLE

7 1/2 feet, 2 piece-1 tip, 5 weight, R.H. Woods model medium, parabolic action 1970s English rod, built by Clifford Constable of Bromley, England, with straw colored cane and a 3/3 node pattern. In original condition, with spare tip, sleeve and tube. Signed. Fine condition, like new.

Hardy “The Wye” Palakona 12’-6", #9 Split Cane Salmon Fly Rod, with agate rubber butt, brass tip rings (retaining finial protectors), low bell rings throughout, maroon silk whippings with intermediates, four-piece (spare tip) full length, complete with original Hardy rod bag. Marked by company on metal receiver and painted with "Gold Medal Rod, Palakona Regd., No. 246936, Some loss to finish, roughness to cork.

Lot: 3036 - ORVIS 9 1/2' BAKELITE IMPREGNATED BAMBOO SALMON ROD IN BAG AND ALUMINUM TUBE, 3 PART WITH SPARE TIP

Orvis 9 1/2' - 3/2 impregnated rod with 4 1/2" removable extension butt, marked, "Orvis Impregnated, Pat. Pending" above the grip, s/n 8013 on all sections. Data base refers to it as a Bakelite Salmon rod built 9/9/48, Impregnated - 19/64 & 13/64 ferrules. The grip is more "coke bottle" shaped than the standard Orvis cigar shape, and in excellent condition. Standard size for a single handed rod. Dark anodized screw locking reel seat hardware is uplocking with upper hood buried in bottom of grip. In bag and tube. Lightly used.

Drilling Rifle manufactured by Fortuna-Werke at Suhl. Features blued barrel with case-hardened and engraved frame. Case hardened finish has been mostly worn off the frame. Fitted with K. Kahles Wien fixed-magnification scope with standard German post reticle. This model features an automatic rear sight actuated by a sliding switch on the tang, double-triggers with the front trigger having an adjustment screw, and Greener-style side-safety. Stock features checkered pistol-style grip and cheek-piece, has been fitted with BMR recoil pad. Overall good condition with some minor dings to the toe of the of the stock. Stock features rounded grip and has been refitted with Pachmayr "White Line" recoil pad. Overall fine condition with significant wear to the bluing on the barrel near muzzle, as well as in spots on the frame. Some dings and scratches to wood furniture. Single action revolver made by Sturm, Ruger & Co. in celebration of the Bicentennial anniversary of the United States of America. Features a chrome nickel finish on the frame, barrel and cylinder. Fitted with rosewood grips with inlaid metal discs engraved with an American Eagle Crest. Has square-notch and post sights with the rear notch being fully adjustable for windage and elevation. Over Under Shotgun manufactured by Ruger Sturm & Co. This particular piece was manufactured in 1999, commemorating the company's 50th anniversary and features gold inlay of the company's logo on the stainless steel frame. Barrels are blued with a vent rib and single brass bead sight. The Firearm is in overall excellent condition with a minor imperfection in the wood finish near the trigger guard. Comes in original packaging with choke wrench and the following screw-in chokes: two skeet, one improved cylinder, one modified, and one full. BBL: 26", OAL: 43", Caliber: 12 GA. Lot: 3168 - 1864 SPRINGFIELD RIFLED MUSKET, S. NORRIS & W.T. CLEMENT CONTRACT, .58 CALIBER

1864 manufactured Springfield pattern rifled musket made by S. Norris & W.T. Clement of Massachusetts. Overall good condition with wear expected for the age of the rifle. Rifling is still in good condition with some minor signs of corrosion near the breech. Some dings and scratches to the wood are also evident but no cracks are present. Barrel bands show some pitting which is also evident near the percussion nipple. BBL: 40", OAL: 56", Caliber: .58 black powder.

Lot: 3170 - 1873 SPRINGFIELD TRAPDOOR RIFLE, .45-70 GOV'T

An excellent condition Trapdoor rifle dated as 1878 manufacturer. It kept its dark finish to the barrel and receiver with only some very light pitting to the outside of the barrel. The walnut stock is in fine condition with some dings throughout and one significant chip to the left of the receiver tang. The inside of the barrel and chamber were given a thick coating of protective grease which left them in near perfect condition. The sights include a simple front blade and a fully adjustable rear sight with multiple notches and apertures. Overall good condition. BBL: 33", OAL: 52", Caliber: .45-70 Gov't, S/N: 444715

Lot: 3172 - MODEL 1863 SPRINGFIELD MUSKET, DATED 1864, .58 CALIBER

A model 1863 Springfield Musket manufactured in 1864 but still in the original pattern. Features a round barrel with three-leaf sight, dark walnut stock with brass end cap and buttplate, ram rod and comes with original socket bayonet. Lock plate and bolster still clearly show U.S. eagle stamp. All other markings on lockplate are still clear and defined. Rifling is still in excellent condition with minor corrosion visible at chamber. Stock has numerous dings and some scratches, and both forward and rear sling swivels are missing. Otherwise in overall good condition. BBL: 40", OAL: 56", Caliber: .58 ball

Lot: 3174 - 1862 ENFIELD TOWER RIFLE MUSKET, .577 CALIBER

An 1862 Tower musket with Enfield-pattern rifling. Lockplate is clearly marked with "1862 Tower" and the Victoria crown rear of the hammer. Features a round barrel fitted in dark walnut stock with brass barrel bands, stock cap, buttplate and trigger guard. There is damage to the finish on the barrel and lockplate with some minor corrosion near the percussion cap nipple. Comes with original ram/cleaning rod although threaded end broke off. Stock has various damage from numerous small dings throughout as well as one significant chip near the far end of the stock on the left hand side. Some corrosion to the rifling, primarily near the muzzle. BBL: 39", OAL: 55", Caliber: .577 ball

Lot: 3176 - COLT 1849 POCKET REVOLVER W/ CASE & ACCESSORIES, .31 CALIBER

An early production Colt model of 1849 Pocket revolver in excellent mechanical condition with original case and all accessories. The revolver features an octagonal barrel, smooth cylinder with stagecoach scene rollmark, smooth walnut grips, and a case hardened frame and hammer. The barrel's blued finish is still visible near the forcing cone and significantly worn near the muzzle with light pitting on the right hand side. The rifling is in perfect condition. The rollmark scene of a stagecoach battle on the cylinder is in near perfect condition with almost no signs of wear. The timing, cylinder lockup and trigger break are all excellent, suggesting light use of the firearm. All serial numbers are matching and show the revolver was manufactured in 1852 according to Colt's records. Accessories include brass bullet mold with molds for casting either round ball or conical bullets, brass powder flask and two period percussion cap tins; one from Union Metallic Cartridge Co. and the other branded Eley of London. All stored in a velvet lined sectional case. Case has some internal damage to velvet lining as well as a visible repair to the lid. BBL: 5", OAL: 10", Caliber: .31 ball, S/N: 54715

Lot: 3177 - 19TH C. AUSTRIAN LORENZ MILITARY MUSKET & CIVILIAN POWDER HORN

Austrian Model 1854 Rifled Musket by Lorenz, .54 Cal. Stamped 860, so made in 1860 (Austrians only used last three digits), with imperial proof mark, regimental marks on stock, 36" round to octagonal barrel, retaining rifling (some were rebored to .58), probably imported during the Civil War, very popular in the South, added wooden rear sight, replaced wooden ramrod. 52 1/2" overall, retaining 80% bluing.

Lot: 3179 - POTSDAM PERCUSSION CONVERTED MUSKET

Prussian Model of1809 "Potsdam" Musket, .71 caliber, this one being a percussion conversion stamped 'Potsdam' with crown crest above on the lock plate. Features walnut stock with brass buttplate, barrel bands, and trigger guard; original steel ramrod and 51" barrel with front and rear sight. Butt plate is stamped with date, 1835, as well as unit markings and serial number, "9.L.W.R. 2C 149." All brass fittings and barrel stamped with matching numbers. Both sling loops are missing although both studs are present, one retention bolt is also missing from lock plate. Wood has some dings and scratches, some surface rust to barrel and locking mechanism although no significant pitting, and a nice patina to all brass fittings with some corrosion to the trigger guard. The mercenaries' choice.

Lot: 3181 - STEVENS MODEL 59A SHOTGUN, .410 BORE

A Stevens Model 59A bolt action shotgun manufactured by the Savage Arms Corporation. Receiver and barrel both have a blued finish that is in good condition with some minor surface rust. The bolt was originally finished although it has now mostly worn off. Fitted in a simple walnut stock with plastic buttplate and rear sling swivel (hole for front sling swivel is present). The shotgun feeds from a tube magazine with loading port forward of the stock, likely holds 4-5 shells. Barrel is marked for 2 1/2" & 3" shells, has a fixed full choke and features a simple bead sight. Overall good condition. BBL: 23", OAL: 45", Caliber: .410 GA.

A beautiful shotgun distributed by J. Braddell & Sons of Ireland, which is built on the Anson & Deeley patented boxlock action. The shotgun features Damascus barrels, a receiver with intricate scrollwork and floral engraving, & checkered walnut furniture. The original finish of the gun is all but worn off with some evidence of it visible forward of the trigger guard on the receiver. The barrel is fitted with a single bead sight and shell extractor. The left hand barrel has a fixed modified choke, the right hand is open cylinder. Overall good condition with minor dings near the muzzle and some scratches to the stock. Lot: 3186 - SIDE BY SIDE PERCUSSION SHOTGUN, 16 BORE

A beautifully made side-by-side percussion shotgun marked on both lockplates with the name "Walker." The buttstock is finely checkered with a straight grip along with metal stirrup off of the trigger guard. The stock also has silver inlay on both the comb of the stock, which features a falcon perched on a globe, and underneath the receiver tang, which features a pair of partridges. The frame, trigger guard, and lock plates are all engraved with intricate scrollwork designs. Both hammers are engraved to give the appearance of dragon heads. Overall good condition with some minor corrosion in the chambers and losses to both escutcheons for the barrel wedge hole. BBL: 33", OAL: 49", Caliber: 16 bore.

Lot: 3188 - REMINGTON MODEL 11 SHOTGUN, 16 GA

Remington Model 11 semi-automatic shotgun, based on Browning's patent. Shotgun features a flat blued finish on barrel and receiver and fitted with checkered walnut handguard and buttstock with pistol-style grip. Barrel is marked as having modified fixed choke and features simple bead sight. The choke of the muzzle actually measures as an open cylinder so the barrel likely was cut down from its original length. Shotgun was stored with leather covered slip-on recoil pad which unfortunately melted onto the buttplate, could be removed with a good solvent. A small bore side-by-side shotgun produced by the Lefever Arms Co. of Ithaca, New York. The shotgun features two 26" barrels with blued finish on a case hardened receiver, bearing engravings of a goose in flight on either side with checkered walnut handguard and buttstock, which is fitted with rubber recoil pad. The right hand barrel has an improved cylinder fixed choke while the left hand barrel has a full choke. All serial numbers are matching. A U.S. foot officer's sword manufactured by W.H. Horstmann & Sons of Philadelphia. Grip guard and scabbard are in overall good condition and wrapped with gold tassel. Blade still shows engravings of scrollwork patterns, but suffered from corrosion throughout.

A beautiful Luger manufactured by Mauser and imported by InterArms of Virgina. Lot of two pistols, one an Avion "Brevete" made in Spain and chambered for .25 ACP, the other an assembled Traditions Philadelphia Derringer kit gun in .45 caliber. The Brevete features black plastic grips bearing the Avion Emblem, a blued finish to the receiver and slide, and a nickel finish to the barrel, trigger, safety lever, and grip safety. The pistol is in overall good condition with only basic holster wear to the finish. The Philadelphia Derringer is a small muzzle-loading percussion cap pistol assembled from a kit distributed by Traditions Firearms. The pistol features a smoothbore .45 caliber barrel with blued finish, a blued lockplate bearing the pistol's name and brass fittings to the wood grip.

Lot of two leather bullet belts, one fitted with a revolver holster, the other with a small knife sheath and horn-handled knife. The gun belt has 32 loops for .45 caliber cartridges and its holster is likely designed for the Colt Single Action Army. The knife belt is fitted with 10 loops for rifle cartridges, of which 8 are filled with .30-06 ammunition. The included knife has a 3" blade on a 4 1/2" long horn handle. Extensive wear is present on both belts, knife in overall good condition.

Lot: 3210 - (3) SINGLE-SHOT FALLING BLOCK RIFLES, .22 LR

Lot of 3 single shot takedown rifles with falling block actions: 1 "Crack Shot" model by Stevens Arms, 1 Model 1915 by Stevens Arms, and an unnamed model by Remington Arms. All three are chambered for .22 LR. The Model 1915 has a tang mounted flip-up Creedmoor-style peep sight and a hooded front sight, the hood being hand made from a section of copper tubing and painted black. The barrel also appears to have been drilled and tapped for a scope mount. The "Crack Shot" features a simple v-notch rear sight and brass front blade. The Remington is fitted both with a v-notch rear sight on the barrel as well as a crude flip-up peep sight on the tang. The rifling in the Model 1915 and Remington is still in good condition, in the Crack Shot there is significant corrosion.

Deep blue finish with checkered, walnut grip panels and bearing mark of the Columns of Gediminas on the top of the slide forward of the ejection port. Overall excellent condition with no apparent damage to the finish or wood, all serial numbers matching. Comes with original leather holster and cleaning rod, extra magazine is missing. Holster is in overall good condition with some wear and one of the belt straps detached at one end. A remarkably well-kept piece of military history. Lot: 3232 - VERY SCARCE MODEL 1860 NORWEGIAN INFANTRY 'KAMMERLADER' RIFLE

Model 1860 (marked 1864) Tilting Bolt Breech Loader (Kammerlader) Gun, produced at Kongsberg Vaapenfabrikk in Norway, with a breech-loaded civilian conversion from percussion to rim fired cartridge, featuring an under hammer similar to the Hall rifle, and the unusual feature for a military rifle of a Horn Nose Cap. Serial numbers are all 2282, marked on frame, stock, rear sight, bottom tang and butt plate, left side of breech loader marked "Model 1860__4", top of breech marked 1864, crown proof in many places. Retaining both the cartridge and open chamber for the rifle is unusual. The original caliber was 11.77 mm, but it was enlarged to 12.77 mm when fitted for cartridge.

Loss to rim of one hammer. Auguste PLOMDEUR was a gunmaker (arquebusier) in Paris 1845-1870, he succeeded his father Jacques-Joseph PLOMDEUR who was a gunmaker in Liege (Belgium) and Paris (1825-1840) and applied for several patents related to percussion caps.

A "Bulldozer" single-action revolver made by Forehand & Wadsworth of Worcester, Massachusetts, 19th Century. The revolver is chambered for a .32 caliber rimfire cartridge and features a nickel finish, spur trigger and rosewood grips. Action is in good condition with good cylinder lockup. A double-action/single-action top-break revolver made by Iver Johnson and marketed as their "Safety" model. This revolver features a nickel finish, plastic grips featuring the company's owl logo and a top-break system with auto-ejecting cylinder. While the action still functions both in DA and SA, the cylinder arm is significantly worn and will not lock the cylinder sufficiently when ready to fire. Overall good condition with no significant wear to the nickel finish and only minor corrosion in the cylinder and barrel, rifling is still clearly visible. Lot: 3355 - VINTAGE PAIR OF NORGE-SKI DOWNHILL SKIS

A pair of wooden downhill skis manufactured by Norge-Ski of Oslo with poles. Skis are in overall fine condition with the top varnish being largely worn off, metal latches and components show significant surface rust and oxidization but still functioning, and the leather became dry and stiff, though not significantly torn. Poles have leather wrapped handles with one pole missing its wrist-strap.

A pair of wooden downhill skis with aluminum ski-poles. Manufacturer’s emblem is largely worn to where the name is illegible but features a blue silhouette of a skier banking a turn. The initials “J.B.” are also painted in red near the tip of each. Both skis are in overall fine condition with the top varnish mostly worn off, and metal latches and components show significant surface rust and oxidization but still function. The ski poles have rubber handles and leather wrist-straps.
