Lot: 1 - Bob Hope's Personally Owned "Red Devils" Sports Bag

Bob Hope's Personally Owned "Red Devils" Vinyl Sports Bag From the Bob Hope Estate Auction - This white and red vinyl sports bag was personally owned by Bob Hope. The front reads "Bob Hope Red Devils" along with the Red Devils logo, and the back reads "Bob Hope" in black. The lot was acquired from a 2008 Bob Hope Estate auction and will come with a print out of the auction listing and retains the original lot tag.

Lot: 2 - Bob Hope's Hard Hats From the Bob Hope Estate Auction

Bob Hope's Collection of (3) Hard Hats From the Bob Hope Estate Auction - This fascinating collection of three hard hats were acquired from the estate of Bob Hope. Each hat was awarded to Hope and were a part of his personal collection, kept at his home and office. The lot includes a white hard hat with fluorescent orange tape striped hat band and embossed black tape reading "Bob Hope Public Relations" with the decal of the US Army Corps of Engineers, white fireman helmet from the state of New York that reads, "NY State Hon. Fire Chief Bob Hope", and one fireman's helmet with front shield hand painted "Chief BH". The latter was proudly displayed in his office trophy case in 1953. The lot was acquired from a 2008 Bob Hope Estate auction and will come with a print out of the auction listing.

Lot: 3 - Bob Hope Autographed Black and White Photo W/COA

Bob Hope Autographed Black and White Photo W/COA - This 3.25" x 4.25" black and white photo is autographed by Bob Hope. Bob Hope was an English-American comedian, vaudevillian, actor, singer, athlete, dancer, and author. His career spanned nearly 80 years, and he appeared in over 70 feature films and short films, stage productions and television shows. He began doing regular TV specials in 1954, and hosted the Academy Awards fourteen times in the period from 1941 to 1978. Bob Hope was awarded over two thousand honors and awards, including 54 honorary doctorates. Hope had a deep respect for the men and women who served in the military and had a USO career that lasted half a century, during which he entertained troops during World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the third phase of the Lebanon Civil War, the latter years of the Iran-Iraq War, and the 1990-91 Persian Gulf War. In 1963, President John F. Kennedy awarded him the Congressional Gold Medal for service to his country, and in 1969 President Lyndon Johnson awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom. This autograph was previously housed at the Elvis & Rock N' Roll Museum in Denmark, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Lot: 3A - Frank Sinatra Original Clown Self Portrait W/Cover

Frank Sinatra Original "Melancholy Clown-Self Portrait" Oil on Canvas Painting and Attached Portfolio Cover W/Provenance - This amazing piece is an original oil on canvas painting by Frank Sinatra. Sinatra is a renowned American singer, known as the leader of the "Rat Pack", and a lesser known fact about the singer is that he enjoyed painting as a hobby for over 40 years. This spectacular painting depicts a "Melancholy Clown", and is thought to have been a self portrait of the singer, painted during his divorce to his second wife, Ava Gardner. There have been a few original Sinatra paintings sold in the open market over the years, however none as special as this particular piece. The one side is an original painting of a clown, and is signed "F. Sinatra" in the lower right hand corner. This piece is extra special, as it is attached to the original portfolio cover, as it was obviously the first painting he did in this particular canvas book. The original adhesive is still intact, and the cover of the portfolio also has a clown on it that Mr. Sinatra also wrote his name on in pen (please see all pictures). This is a truly amazing investment piece. The painting and cover measure approx. 5" x 7", and are in beautiful condition. This painting was acquired from a former staff member of Sinatra's, and will come with a signed letter of provenance.

Frank Sinatra Personally Owned Christmas Matches in Exhibit Quality Framed Display (Comes W/COA) - This one of a kind exhibit quality framed display contains a book of Christmas matches owned by Frank Sinatra, which were given to his guests during the holidays. The matches are green with red wording "NOEL Barbara and Blue Eyes." The matches are framed with a Christmas Songs by Sinatra CD, making this an attractive and unique collectible. The lot will come with a certificate of authenticity. Measurements 12" x 10".

The cigar has been framed in a 12.25" x 14.75" shadow box, along with a black and white photo of a young Welles. This is a beautiful exhibit quality presentation, and is in excellent condition. He is remembered for his work in all three, most notably for "Caesar" on Broadway, "The War of the Worlds" in radio, and "Citizen Kane" in film, which is consistently ranked as one of the all-time greatest films. Welles conceived, wrote, and directed the film in 1941, when he was just 25 years old. In 1998 and 2007, the American Film Institute ranked "Citizen Kane" as the greatest American movie. These other Welles films were also nominated for the AFI list: "The Magnificent Ambersons" (director/producer/screenwriter), "The Third Man" (actor), "Touch of Evil" (actor/director/screenwriter), and "A Man for All Seasons" (actor). Lot: 9 - Barbara Streisand's Personally Owned Iridescent Pumps

Barbara Streisand's Personally Owned Maxfield Casadei Iridescent Pumps (Comes W/Previous Auction Invoice) - These iridescent Maxfield Casadei pumps were owned by legendary singer, actress and filmmaker, Barbra Streisand. Barbra Streisand has had a career which has spanned seven decades, and is one of the few entertainers who have been awarded the four major awards, Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony (EGOT). She has sold over 150 million records worldwide, and is the highest-certified female artist in the United States. These pumps were originally sold at auction in 1999 and will come with a copy of the previous purchase invoice and catalog cover. Size: 9 1/2.

Lot: 9A - Michael Jackson's Custom Made Bill Whitten Glove

Michael Jackson's Custom Made Swarovski Crystal Bill Whitten Glove W/Letter of Provenance - This iconic piece is a custom made right hand glove designed by legendary designer Bill Whitten for Michael Jackson. The glove is embellished with hand-sewn Swarovski lochrosen crystals, and bears an interior Bill Whitten label. The glove is accompanied by a letter of provenance from the previous owner of the piece, who states that her mother worked with Bill Whitten between 1976 to 1988 and was given this glove by Bill around 1988 "somewhat as a 'thank you' gift." Michael Jackson memorabilia is some of the most collectible celebrity memorabilia in the world, and pieces attributed to Bill Whitten can be considered at the top of the tier due to the rarity and quality of the items. A similar glove made by Bill Whitten recently sold at an August auction for $112,500. Please see reference photo which pictures Michael Jackson wearing a similar glove.

Lot: 11 - Michael Jackson's Victory Tour Florsheim Loafers

Michael Jackson's Victory Tour Stage Worn Florsheim Imperial Loafers W/Letter of Provenance & Tour Credential - These loafers were personally owned by Michael Jackson and were used during The Jacksons' 1984 Victory Tour. The loafers are size 9.5 and have "MJ" handwritten in black ink on the inside of the left heel. They will be accompanied by a letter of provenance from a former stage hand who worked on the tour, which states in part, "I had told Michael I wanted to have a place at the Children's Hospital where my wife worked to have his personal artifacts displayed for the children to see. Since most children could not attend the shows. It was a way for them to be as close to Michael as possible. Michael was kind enough to donate some of his personal artifacts for this purpose." The loafers will also come with the Victory Tour credential badge from the crew member. The historical 1984 Victory Tour was the only tour with all six Jackson brothers, and the group performed 55 concerts to an audience of approximately 2 million. The tour grossed approximately $75 million, and set a world record for the highest grossing tour. It also showcased Michael's single decorated glove, black sequined jacket and moonwalk.

Michael Jackson Bad Tour Signed Stage Worn Florsheim Imperial Loafers W/Letter of Provenance From MJJ Productions & Publicity Photo - These black Florsheim Imperial loafers were personally owned and worn by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. These loafers are signed by Michael Jackson on the right shoe, and are size 9.5. The loafers will come with a letter of provenance from MJJ Productions to a radio station which requested an owned by Jackson item for a radio giveaway. The letter states in part "Please find enclosed a signed pair of Mr. Jackson's stage worn shoes from the first leg of his Bad World Tour." The loafers will come with a second letter of provenance from the radio station which held the promotion, and an 8"x10" black and white publicity photo.

Lot: 13 - Michael Jackson's Custom Western Style Shirt

Michael Jackson's Personally Owned Custom Western Style Shirt W/Letter of Provenance - This custom made black western style shirt was personally owned by Michael Jackson. The hand-decorated shirt has a style reminiscent of Michael Jackson's taste in the late 1980s, and features long lapels with pearl-like appliques circling silver button details, which also line the front of the shirt creating snap buttons, and matching beaded sleeve cuffs. The shirt will come with a letter of provenance from Frank Cascio, who was a close friend and personal assistant to Michael for over 25 years. According to the letter of provenance, this item is one of many that were given to Cascio during his 25 year relationship with the King of Pop.

Lot: 13A - Robert Plant Signed and Played "Elvis" Taylor Guitar

Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) Signed and Played "Shades of Elvis" Taylor 110-GB Acoustic Guitar (Comes W/Video and Letter of Provenance) - This unique piece of rock and roll memorabilia is a Taylor 110-GB acoustic guitar, which was played by legendary English singer and songwriter, Led Zeppelin front man Robert Plant, making this a one of a kind piece as Plant was a singer and not a guitar player. This guitar features a stunning Elvis portrait by famous artist Jason Orberly, and was created for the photographer who made the "Shades of Elvis" tribute book with Priscilla Presley. Robert Plant, who was featured in the book, admired this guitar when he saw it on set during his 2014 photoshoot for the book, so much so that he picked it up and began to play for several minutes. This interaction was recorded by another person working on the shoot, and the buyer will have this moment saved in the now viral video forever. Even more incredibly Plant, who along with his fellow bandmates is notorious for rarely sign anything, signed this guitar after playing it. Robert Plant has had a successful singing career spanning more than 50 years. In 2008, Rolling Stone editors ranked him number 15 on their list of the 100 best singers of all time. In 2011, Rolling Stone readers ranked Plant the greatest of all lead singers. Plant is the front man of one of the best-selling music groups in the history of audio recording. Led Zeppelin are widely considered one of the most successful, innovative and influential rock groups in history, and with RIAA-certified sales of 111.5 million units, they are the second-best-selling band in the United States. Led Zeppelin was not usually an autograph fan-friendly band, and there are only a hand full of pieces signed by any of the members. The guitar was also later signed by Johnny Depp, Charlie Sheen, and Joe Mantegna. Along with the video which can be viewed on Youtube, this guitar will also come with a letter of provenance from the photographer on the shoot. Lot: 13B - Pink Signed Microphone Used in "Elvis" Photoshoot

Pink Signed Shure Series II Microphone Used in Photoshoot With Elvis the Bulldog (Comes W/Letter of Provenance) - This pink Shure Series II microphone was used in several magazine photoshoots by singer-songwriter, Pink. The microphone was featured in the iconic cover shoot for Pawprint Magazine that Pink had with her beloved bulldog Elvis, that was given to her by her good friend and Elvis Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie. The microphone is signed by Pink on the top, and will come with the black Shure case along with a letter of provenance from the photographer on the shoot.

Lot: 14 - Eddie Van Halen Broken Guitar Given to Friend

Eddie Van Halen Broken Guitar Given to Friend W/Letter of Provenance - This broken electric guitar is now a fascinating art piece with a wonderful story. This guitar was given to a friend by one of the greatest guitar players to ever live, Eddie Van Halen. Eddie Van Halen was the main songwriter and guitarist of the American rock band Van Halen which he co-founded in 1972, and is regarded as one of the all-time greatest guitar players in rock history. He is known for popularizing the tapping guitar solo technique, allowing rapid arpeggios to be played with two hands on the fretboard. This guitar comes with a letter of provenance which states in part, "I was gifted this guitar in 2014. As it was broken, he said that it would fit me perfectly as I practically couldn't play the guitar."

Lot: 15 - Paul Stanley Kiss Psycho Circus World Tour Guitar

Paul Stanley Kiss Psycho Circus World Tour Used Washburn Guitar and Case W/Letter of Authenticity - This Washburn Stanley Signature Guitar was used by the guitar great during the 1998-1999 Kiss Psycho Circus World Tour. Paul Stanley is the co-founder, front man, rhythm guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the iconic rock band Kiss, and writer or co-writer of many of the band's most popular songs. Stanley has been ranked by Hit Parader as 18th on their list of the Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time, and by a Gibson readers' poll as 13th on their list of Top 25 Front men. This guitar comes with the Washburn case and strap, along with a handwritten letter signed by Paul Stanley stating that is was used during the Psycho Circus Tour.

The necklace has the signature CC logo pendant lined with faux pearls, and is stamped with the Chanel authenticity marks. The necklace comes with a handwritten letter of provenance which states that it was purchased from an acquaintance of Madonna. Measurements: 16" length.

Lot: 18 - The Beatles Rare Original Liverpool Cavern Club Brick

The Beatles Rare Original Liverpool Cavern Club Brick W/Display Case and Photograph - This rare piece of Beatles history is an original brick from the legendary Cavern Club, Liverpool. Said to be one of the most famous clubs in the world, Cavern Club opened as a jazz club on January 16, 1957 in a basement that had been a bomb shelter during the war. The club became a hangout for skiffle groups and later, under new ownership in 1959, for rock and blues groups. The Beatles played the Cavern Club nearly 300 times from 1961 to 1963. Manager Brian Epstein first saw them perform there during a lunch session on November 9, 1961 and the rest is history. This brick is one of just 5,000 salvaged from the original club in 1983 and sold for charity. The remainder were used to rebuild the club in 1984. Measurements: 9"x4.5"x3" with a plaque attached giving the provenance. These highly prized bricks are rarely seen at auction and are literally a piece of rock 'n roll history. The brick comes with a display case and an 8"x10" black and white photo of the Beatles performing at the club.

Lot: 19 - Paul McCartney Lock of Hair W/(5) Documents

Paul McCartney Lock of Hair Cut During Filming of "A Hard Day's Night" by John O'Gorman in Exhibit Quality Framed Display (Comes W/(5) Documents of Provenance) - This is a genuine lock of hair which was cut from Paul McCartney during off-screen hair cutting sessions during the making of the 1964 film "A Hard Day's Night". According to the accompanying certificate of authenticity, this lock of hair was obtained from the head of the film's makeup department, John O'Gorman. This lock of hair was removed from a pouch of hair swept up by O'Gorman after cutting McCartney's hair on March 25th, 1964, and is mounted on a ready to frame display along with a towel piece, description of the piece and a photograph of McCartney. The piece will be accompanied by a certificate of origin, letter and certificates of authenticity, certificate of provenance and letter of provenance, which are all issued by Regents Gallery. The letter of provenance shows a photo of the original signed letter from John O'Gorman which states that the hair is from styling cuts of The Beatles during the making of A Hard Day's Night. This piece has excellent investment potential, as collection the hair of famous entertainers has become a booming industry, and in general celebrity hair has been increasing in value over time. In 2017, strands of hair belonging to each of the four Beatles cut during the same hair cutting session sold (in separate lots) for over $10,000. Measurements: 12.75" x 15.75".

John Lennon Rare "Cold Turkey" X-Ray Copy W/LOA - This 15"x17" X-ray of John Lennon's skull is a copy of the X-ray used for the 1969 45 record cover for "Cold Turkey". On the 45 cover the X-Ray had his glasses and eyes superimposed in the lenses, this copy has only the glasses superimposed. This is a fascinating piece of Beatles memorabilia, which are seldom seen for sale. This piece will come with a letter of authenticity.

Jimi Hendrix Experience July 1, 1967 Concert Poster - This concert poster for the Jimi Hendrix Experience was designed by Richard Tolmach and advertises the July 1, 1967 show held at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara, California. The colorful poster also features Country Joe and the Fish, The Strawberry Alarm Clock, and Captain Speed, and is a fantastic piece of psychedelic rock memorabilia. Measurements: 13.75" x 21".

Lot: 22 - Jimi Hendrix Personally Owned Enamel Pendant Necklace

Jimi Hendrix Personally Owned Enamel Pendant Necklace From the Collection of Sharon Lawrence - This yellow and blue enameled pendant necklace was personally owned by legendary musician, Jimi Hendrix. Jimi Hendrix's mainstream career lasted only four years, and yet he is regarded as one of the most influential guitarists in history and one of the most celebrated musicians of the 20th century. The Jimi Hendrix Experience was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005. All three of the band's studio albums were ranked among the 100 greatest albums of all time by Rolling Stone magazine, who also ranked Hendrix the greatest guitarist and the sixth greatest artist of all time. The lot comes with a copy letter of provenance from Sharon Lawrence, who was a freelance journalist who became a close friend of Jimi Hendrix during the last three years of his life, while working as a reporter in Los Angeles. Lawrence would go on to write the book "Jimi Hendrix: The Man, The Magic, The Truth" based partly on her never-before-heard recorded interviews with the late musician. According to Lawrence's account, Jimi showed her an Hermes box (lot 33A in this sale) on one of the last occasions she ever saw him, in Europe in 1970, which housed this pendant along with two tiny animals and a tiny bird that he stated he were "good luck pieces" that he was planning on sewing on to a scarf. The lot comes with a notarized copy of the original letter of provenance from Lawrence (the original accompanies lot 33A in this sale) which states in part, "He asked me to store them in one of the boxes he had left in my Los Angeles carport the year before." Measurements: 1.25" pendant, 28" cord necklace.

Lot: 22A - Elvis Presley 1958 Handwritten Letter to Patsy Presley

Elvis Presley 1958 Handwritten Letter to Patsy Presley and Family W/Original Mailing Envelope and Letter of Provenance - This two page letter was handwritten by Elvis Presley to his first cousin, Patsy, in late 1958 while staying at the Grunewald Hotel in Bad Nauheim, Germany while serving in the U.S. Army. The beautiful letter is a glimpse into the mind of a young Elvis, who speaks of his homesickness, memories of Graceland, the approaching holidays, and his mother Gladys who had passed away earlier that year. The letter is addressed "Dear Patsy, aunt Delta, and Uncle Ves," and is signed by Elvis at the conclusion. The letter includes the original mailing envelope with the return address listed as the Grunewald Hotel. The back of the envelope is also signed "PFC Elvis Presley". The letter will come with a letter of provenance from Patsy Presley.

Lot: 23 - Elvis Presley "Speedway" Racing Jumpsuit W/COA

Elvis Presley "Speedway" Racing Jumpsuit W/COA and Framed Photos - This jumpsuit was worn by Elvis Presley in the 1968 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer musical action film , Speedway. The film stars Elvis Presley as a generous NASCAR race car driver, Steve Grayson, and Nancy Sinatra as his love interest, Susan Jacks, in her last film role to date. Speedway would be the final "formula" musical film of Elvis' career, as his remaining films would be less musical. This piece is worn by Elvis for the filming of the racing scenes, and comes with a framed presentation containing two still photos. This iconic one piece racing jumpsuit has a zip-front closure, two slanted chest pockets, and "Steve" embroidered in blue on the left chest, and has an interior Hinchman Indianapolis label with "ELVIS PRESLEY" handwritten in black. The jumpsuit will come with a certificate of authenticity from the Elvis Presley Museum signed by Jimmy Velvet, and a Speedway album cover showing Elvis wearing the jumpsuit. Elvis Presley's Custom Made White Leather Eagle Belt Made and Signed by Mike McGregor W/Provenance - This white leather belt was custom made for Elvis Presley by blacksmith and leather craftsman, Mike McGregor, and bears the instantly recognizable style that was favored by the King in the early 1970s. This iconic piece is crafted of white leather with brass eagles and silver-tone studs and chains, and finished with an oversized buckle with brass eagle and silver-tone trim. The back of the belt buckle is signed "Hand made by Mike McGregor" and "To Dave and Joan Thanks, Mike" along with the initials "EP". The belt was previously sold at auction in 1994 and has not been offered to the public since. Per the Sotheby's auction catalog description of the item, it states "This belt was authenticated by Mike McGregor." Elvis Presley "Heartbreak Hotel" Original Working Lyrics Handwritten by Mae Boren Axton - This wonderful piece of music history is a sheet of handwritten original working lyrics for what would be the classic Elvis Presley hit song, Heartbreak Hotel. These lyrics were written by Mae Boren Axton, a high school teacher with a background in musical promotion, and Tommy Durden, a Jacksonville singer-songwriter. The song was written in October 1955 and presented by Axton to Elvis Presley, who loved the song and eventually recorded it in January 1956 for his new label, RCA Victor. The lyrics are handwritten in pencil and signed by Mae Boren Axton and Tommy Durden, and also have various edits and corrections. The lyrics come with a letter of authenticity from James Spence Authentication.

Lot: 25A - Elvis Presley June 9th, 1975 Soundboard Recording

Elvis Presley June 9th, 1975 Concert Soundboard Recording on Cassette W/Letter of Provenance and Remastered 3-Song CD - This casette tape contains the soundboard recording from Elvis Presley's Mississippi concert on June 9th, 1975, identified by record producer and engineer Mark Needham. The soundboard recording was later remastered to create the "Cut 'Em Down To Size-Live in Concert" CD. This casette tape has an insert which reads, "Elvis Presley 'Cut 'Em Down To Size!' Side A and B Recorded live on stage from soundboard Jackson, MS June 09, 1975". The lot also includes a CD with three songs from the concert, remastered from the concert soundboard recording by record producer and engineer Mark Needham. The CD includes: Intro and CC Rider, I Got A Woman, and Jambalaya, and come with a copy of a letter from Needham which states in part, "I have reviewed and mastered these three songs...that were part of a cassette tape of released live Elvis songs from the June 9th, 1975 show from Jackson Mississippi. All of the songs except these three are on the released version. They appear to be part of the same show and in my opinion, are genuine live performances from Elvis Presley and his band."

Lot: 25B - Elvis Presley Signed 1956 Songwriters Contract

Elvis Presley Signed 1956 Songwriters Contract for "Let Me" - This 1956 songwriters contract gives a glimpse into the inner workings of Elvis Presley's early career. This Standard Uniform Popular Songwriters Contract for the song "Let Me" from Elvis' hit 1956 movie Love Me Tender marks a seminal point in the King's career and his movie debut. The standard two-page, double-sided printed agreement dated September 1st, 1956 between Elvis Presley Music, Inc. and Vera Matson and Elvis Presley, is signed by Elvis Presley and Vera Matson at the conclusion. The song itself was written by Ken Darby and published by Elvis Presley Music, which credited Elvis and Darby’s wife Vera Matson as Ken Darby’s pseudonym. Elvis received partial songwriting credit because of his relationship with Hill and Range, which demanded any song recorded by Elvis would entitle him to 50% writing credit. The agreement lists royalties of 4 cents per copy for regular piano copies sold in the U.S. and 5 cents per copy of orchestrations sold in the U.S. as well as a royalty of 50% of all net sums for piano copies and orchestrations received by the publisher in any foreign country. Paragraph (e) has been struck while a paragraph H-1 has been added that states, "The sum of Twelve Dollars and Fifty Cents ($12.50) as and when said composition is published in any folio or composite work or lyric magazine by the Publisher or licensees of the Publisher." The agreement also makes several additional amendments including adding paragraph 18 above the signatures which reads: "The Writers hereby consent and agree that the Publisher may, without any payment therefor, grant to TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX an unlimited worldwide synchronization license for the three (3) compositions covered by this agreement for any and all motion pictures produced and/or distributed by TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX and its associated companies and corporations for the full copyright terms of said compositions, and the same applies for the use of said titles as titles of motion pictures." A similar contract from the 1956 film was sold at a Graceland auction in 2018 for $25,000.

Elvis Presley Lot of (35) 8" x 10" Taekwondo Photographs (Museum Exhibited W/COA) - This lot includes (35) various 8"x10" photographs of Elvis Presley practicing Taekwondo along with his instructor Kang Rhee. Elvis became interested in taekwondo when he served in the Army in Germany, and his former instructor Ed Parker highly recommended Kang Rhee when he returned to Memphis. During their four year period together, they became good friends and Elvis adopted his training name of "Tiger" which is seen here on the certificate. Close friends of Elvis call this four year period "The Golden Years", as they represented a time of peace and spiritual contentment for him. Kang Rhee passed away on August 16th, 2019 and this is a highly collectible and historic item from the era known as "The King and Kang". Jean Harlow's Personally Owned Monogrammed Cream Satin Floor Length Robe W/COA and Letter of Provenance - This lovely satin robe was personally owned by American actress and "Blonde Bombshell", Jean Harlow. The floor length robe is crafted of cream satin with lace trim and has "JH" embroidered at the left chest. Jean Harlow signed with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1932 where she quickly became a leading lady, and her popularity rivaled and soon surpassed that of her MGM colleagues such as Joan Crawford and Norma Shearer. She was also ranked as the 22nd greatest female star of classic Hollywood cinema by The American Film Institute. The robe comes with a two-page certificate of authenticity from collector Sally Cramier, whose mother was good friends with Harlow's agent and friend Arthur Landall. The letter states in part, "During his long affair with my mother he would often bring her one of Jean's nightgowns, robes or trinkets and insist that she 'keep it'". The lot will also come with a letter of provenance from Richard Wilson of Norma's Jeans, who obtained the piece from Sally Cramier.

Mae West's Personally Owned Custom Made Navy Crepe Day Gown W/LOA - This 1930s custom made day gown was personally owned by Mae West. Mae West was an iconic American actress, singer, playwright, screenwriter, comedian and sex symbol, whose career spanned seven decades. At the height in the early 1930s she was one of the largest box office draws in the United States, and by 1935, West was the highest paid woman and the second-highest paid person in the United States. West was also named the 15th greatest female star of classic American cinema by The American Film Institute. This floor length dress is crafted of navy crepe with white trim along the neck, arms and hem (the trim has discolored due to age). This gown comes with a letter of authenticity on Mae West's letterhead from her personal secretary Tim Malachosky attesting to its authenticity. The dress was acquired from a Hollywood memorabilia auction in 1995 and has not been offered to the public since. The lot will include a copy of the previous auction catalog page picturing the piece and retains the original lot tag.

Marlene Dietrich's Personally Owned Custom Made Delman Rhinestone and Satin Pumps - These lovely rhinestone embellished satin pumps by Delman were custom made for German-American actress Marlene Dietrich. Marlene Dietrich's career spanned nearly 70 years beginning as a stage and silent film star in the 1920s in Berlin. Her portrayal of "Lola-Lola" in the 1930 German musical-drama, The Blue Angel, brought her international acclaim and a contract with Paramount Pictures. She went on to star in many Hollywood films including six directed by Josef von Sternberg, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her role as "Mademoiselle Amy Jolly" in the 1930 film, Morocco. In 1999 the American Film Institute named Dietrich the ninth greatest female screen legend of classic Hollywood cinema. These shoes were made by Delman, a custom shoe maker who is remembered as the great showman of the New York footwear industry, and was a favorite of wealthy socialites and celebrities. The shoes have a cream satin construction with rhinestone embellished heels, ankle straps and trim, and the pink leather sole reads "Especially for Marlene Dietrich".

The dress was acquired from the collection of Hollywood costumer Kent Warner, who worked for MGM Studios and is known for 'liberating' props such as the iconic ruby red slippers of "The Wizard of Oz" and Humphrey Bogart's trench coat from "Casablanca". The dress will be accompanied by a typeset letter of provenance signed by Warner dated 6/1/1979, which was also notarized on that date. Lot: 38A - Marilyn Monroe's 37" Pearl Necklace W/COA

Marilyn Monroe's 37" Pearl Necklace Acquired from Eleanor "Bebe" Goddard W/COA - This beautiful pearl necklace was owned by the illustrious Marilyn Monroe. The necklace measures 37" in length and is finished with a sterling silver clasp. According to our seller, this necklace was acquired from Eleanor "Bebe" Goddard, who was known as the foster sister and teenage friend of a young Norma Jean Baker, as Marilyn was known at the time. Goddard and Monroe met and became friends after each had been in a series of foster homes, and they later spent several of their teenage years in the Van Nuys home of Goddard's father and his new wife Grace who was a close friend of Marilyn's institutionalized mother. The lot includes a letter of provenance from the seller which includes photographs from the 30th Anniversary Memorial Service for Marilyn Monroe on August 5th, 1992 at which our seller met Bebe Goddard, who was included in the service. This necklace was purchased by our seller from Goddard later that day. The piece was exhibited at the Elvis & Rock N' Roll Museum in Denmark, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The wood piece was salvaged from the Fox Baja Studios set in Rosarito, Mexico, and is numbered 308/5000 on the back. Titanic is an American epic romance-disaster film directed, written, co-produced and co-edited by James Cameron. The film achieved critical and commercial success, being nominated for 14 Academy Awards, and winning 11 including the awards for Best Picture and Best Director. The lot includes two hospital gowns, a pair of cotton pajamas from Nordstrom, a navy cotton robe from Nordstrom, and a pair of Daniel Green slippers. James Earl Jones portrays "Vice Admiral Jim Greer" throughout the film, who is stricken with cancer causing Jack Ryan (Harrison Ford) to be appointed acting Deputy Director of Intelligence. Jack Ryan discovers he is being kept in the dark by colleagues who are conducting a covert war against a drug cartel in Colombia, apparently with the approval of the President. These costumes are worn by James Earl Jones throughout the hospital scenes while getting treatment for cancer, including when Jack Ryan tells him of his upcoming plans to go to Colombia, and in the later part of the film while Jack visits him and discusses his discovery of the U.S. Government's involvement with the cartel. Miranda is known for her signature fruit hat outfit she wore in her American films, and was nicknamed "The Brazilian Bombshell". These elaborate stage shoes have a gold-colored design decorated with fabric braiding and colorless rhinestones. They have an open-toe, six inch heel and two and a half inch platform. The shoes were previously sold at auction in 1995, and retain the original lot tag and will come with a copy of the auction catalog page. Fairbanks both produced the film and starred as its lead character. Douglas Fairbanks was an American actor, screenwriter, director, and producer, active from 1899 to 1934. He was a founding member of United Artists, and a founding member of The Motion Picture Academy and hosted the 1st Academy Awards in 1929. He married Mary Pickford in 1920 and the couple became known as "Hollywood Royalty" and Fairbanks as "The King of Hollywood". Fairbanks was considered one of the biggest stars in Hollywood during the 1910s and 1920s prior to the advent of sound films. This cape bears an interior United Costumers label with "DG Fairbanks" handwritten along with the sizing information. Carl Perkins began recording with Sun Studios in January, 1956 and his hit "Blue Suede Shoes" reached number 1 on the Billboard country music chart and topped at number 2 on Billboard's pop chart. Sammy Davis Jr. was an American entertainer. He was primarily a dancer and singer, but also worked as an actor of stage and screen, comedian, musician, and impressionist. Volcano (1997) Anne Heche & Gabby Hoffman Costumes W/Costumer's Tags and LOA - This lot includes two costumes worn by Anne Heche and Gabby Hoffman as they portrayed "Amy Barnes" and 'Kelly Roark" in the 1997 disaster film, Volcano. The lot includes Heche's 6-piece ensemble which is comprised of a white ribbed t-shirt with production distressing, white Calvin Klein button down long-sleeved shirt, khaki pants by Chaiken and Capone with "FOX" handwritten on the label, brown leather jacket with "Stunt Amy Fires & Proof" written on the interior pocket lining, leather Logger boots, brown socks and green bandana. This costume is worn by Heche throughout the middle and end of the film when the volcano begins to erupt and Amy and Mike (Tommy Lee Jones) begin trying to save the city of Los Angeles from the lava. This costume can be seen when Amy and Mike rescue a man and have to be rescued by a fire crew by hanging from their ladder. According to a 1997 news article, Heche insisted on doing many of her own stunts including hanging onto a moving fire-truck ladder alongside Jones and a fiery stuntman. The lot also includes a costume worn by Gabby Hoffman as "Kelly Roark" during the middle of the film when the volcano first erupts, when she is burned on her leg and her father sends her to the hospital with a doctor who volunteers to take her along with two men whom she has rescued. This costume includes a green corduroy jacket, stripped pants, white tank top, black bralette and black socks. All of the costume pieces have various production distressing and some pieces have costume department tags with handwritten information. The lot will also include a letter of authenticity.
