This Chief Big Moon mechanical bank by J. & E. Stevens is one hundred percent original, including the fish and trap. Condition: (Very Good Plus). Dimensions: 10" x 4" x 6 - 1/4".

Lot: 1002 - SHEPARD HARDWARE CO. CAST IRON "MASON" MECHANICAL BANK.

Shepard Hardware Co. cast iron "Mason" mechanical bank. Hod carrier is loose, as the screw which holds him to the base is broken off. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 7 - 1/2" x 7" x 4".

Lot: 1003 - INDIAN AND BEAR MECHANICAL BANK.

This Indian and Bear Bank by J. & E. Stevens features a white bear variation. The feathers are original, but have been transferred from a different bank. Condition: (Excellent Plus). Dimensions: 11" X 4" X 7 - 3/4".

This Mammy with Child mechanical bank by Kyser & Rex features its original trap and key and presents in very good condition. Condition: (Good - Very Good). Dimensions: Largest: 4 - 1/2" x 8" x 4".

Lot: 1007 - RECLINING CHINAMAN MECHANICAL BANK.

Lot: 1011 - PADDY AND THE PIG MECHANICAL BANK.

This Paddy and the Pig mechanical bank by J. & E. Stevens has a trap missing and exhibits an original pig leg, but the color suggests that it is from another bank. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 7" x 4" x 7 - 3/4".

Lot: 1012 - CLOWN ON GLOBE MECHANICAL BANK.

This cast iron organ grinder performing bear by Kyser & Rex is one hundred percent original, including trap. Condition: (Excellent). Dimensions: 5 - 1/2" x 7" x 4 - 3/4".

This Dentist mechanical bank by J. & E. Stevens presents a repair at the dentist's foot, as well as a replacement of the patient's arm. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 10 - 1/4" x 3 - 3/4" x 6".

J. E. Stevens Girl Skipping Rope Cast Iron Mechanical Bank. Nice, no apologies bank in all original condition with no repairs. This bank is all honest play wear and spins a solid 12 times. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 8 - 1/2" x 8 - 1/2" x 6".

Lot: 1043 - NEW CREEDMORE MECHANICAL BANK.

This New Creedmore mechanical bank has a trap which has been replaced yet overall works well, and is overall in very good condition. Condition: (Very Good Plus). Dimensions: 10" x 3" x 6 - 1/2".

Lot: 1044 - EARLY GERMAN TIN LITHO SEMI-MECHANICAL ROYAL TRICK ELEPHANT BANK.

C. early 20th century. Attributed to Saalheimer & Strauss. Beautiful lithography, original trap. When tail is pushed, coin drops out of elephant's mouth into slot. Nice coloring. Does have some minor to moderate scratching and wear with minimal repaint. Condition: (Excellent). Dimensions: 7" X 2" X 4 - 3/4".

Lot: 1060 - GERMAN TIN LITHO SELHUMER & STRAUSS SEMI-MECHANICAL BANK.

Depicts Scotsman on front. When lever is pushed underneath, tongue comes out. Original trap, nice tin litho. Some fading and wear. Provenance: From the Collection of William L. Hibdon & Gary D. Deimund. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: 3 - 1/2" x 7" x 2 - 1/4".

Lot: 1061 - LOT OF 3: UNCLE TOM, LITTLE JOE AND SONNY BOY MECHANICAL BANKS.

The first is an Uncle Tom Bank with the star and labels partially repainted and a replaced baseplate and trap. The second is a Little Joe Bank, all original without repaint or repairs. The third is a Sonny Boy Bank with hat and moving ears, all original without repaint or repairs. Condition: (Good - Very Good). Dimensions: LARGEST: 6" X 4 - 1/2" X 5".

The first is an aluminum Greedy "N" Boy Bank, all original without repaint or repairs. The second is an English Jolly "N" Bank overpainted with missing eyes. The third is a Jolly "N" Bank made by J.E. Stevens, overpainted. The fourth is an English Jolly "N" Bank with original paint and missing baseplate. Condition: (Good - Excellent). This lot consists of a William Tell bank by J. & E. Stevens and a Halls Excelsior original monkey with replaced arms. William Tell bank mechanism needs lubrication and does not operate, but is overall in excellent condition. Condition: (Excellent - Excellent Plus). This lot includes four Jolly "N" cast iron mechanical banks. Banks include a German made Jolly "N", an aluminum Greedy "N" Boy, a Jolly "N" Sambo which is missing his baseplate and the lever has been repaired, and a Give me a Penny still bank. There is a door knocker parrot, a duck wearing top hat bank called "Save For a Rainy Day" and a Pennsylvania Dutch Dowry Chest bank in the original box. Dowry Chest bank is Fenstermaker, all four others are Hubley. Very little wear, a few play nicks here and there. More wear to Save For a Rainy Day duck bank than others. Condition: (Excellent). Lot: 1253 - ANTIQUE MALLARD DUCK CAST IRON WATER SPRINKLER.

This cast iron water sprinkler is in the form of a mallard duck with the original paint. It is complete with the sprinkler head and hose connection. Sprinkler measures 13" long and 7" tall. There is some wear, consistent with its age. Unique and desirable piece. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 13 - 1/4" x 5 - 1/2" x 6 - 1/2".

Lot: 1254 - LARGE SIZE AMERICAN MADE CAST IRON PASSENGER TRAIN SET.

Steam-type engine in 4-4-0 design, with affixed cast iron cowcatcher, original bell and nice orange highlighting. Comes with matching eight-wheel tender that also has orange striping. There is one large passenger car, marked "Limited Express Parlor Car", which is stenciled on both sides of car, 12 windows on each side of car and also has viewing platforms on both sides of passenger car. Some minor to moderate paint loss and wear. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: Largest: 4 - 3/4" x 13 - 1/2" x 3 - 1/2".

Lot: 1255 - AMERICAN MADE CAST IRON PASSENGER TRAIN SET FLOOR TRAIN.

Engine marked "50" on cab, 2-2-2 design on spoked wheels and with guide rods. There is a matching F-O tender with gold striping and two passenger cards, one marked "Pennsylvania Limited Crescent 405", the other is an observation car marked "Pennsylvania Limited 407 Woodbine 407". Some minor to moderate scratching throughout. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: Largest: 10" x 3 - 1/2" x 2".

Lot: 1256 - SCARCE CAST IRON AMERICAN MADE FREIGHT TRAIN SET.

Includes steam-type engine with affixed cowcatcher, four-banded, matching eight-wheel tender and two freight cars, which are identical. Moderate to heavy loss to freight cars, moderate loss to tender and engine. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: Largest: 4" x 9" x 3".

Lot: 1257 - VERY SCARCE CAST IRON AMERICAN MADE SECOR PASSENGER TRAIN SET.

C. 1880's by Jerome Secor. Cast iron steam-type engine with cowcatcher, scarce tender and very scarce passenger car. Patent mark on engine is "June 80". Affixed cowcatcher on front, matching four-wheel tender marked "20" in embossed numbers on both sides. There is one passenger car with ten windows, spoked wheels and cast iron floorboard. General overall paint loss and wear, especially to tender. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: Largest: 5" x 8" x 3 - 1/4".

Lot: 1258 - WEEDEN-STEVENS DOCKYARD EXTRA LARGE VERTICAL ENGINE.

C. 1896. In original wooden case. One large stack. Vertical unit has wooden base, one burner and some instructions. Much nicer-looking than the average steam unit. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: Crate: 12 - 1/2" x 16" x 9 - 3/4".

Lot: 1259 - RARE AND UNUSUAL EARLY HANDMADE VERTICAL INVERTED MARINE STEAM ENGINE MODEL.

C. mid 19th century. Made by Thomas W. Mason, marked on engine "Thomas W. Mason, Philadelphia". A very special engine, as it was produced in the very beginning of the vertical inverted steam engine era, used up until the 1920's and 1930's. Thomas W., along with his father and brothers, were instrument makers in Philadelphia and belonged to the Philadelphia Philosophical Society. Thomas W. was also listed as a model maker. The vertical inverted engine revolutionized steam-powered ships. Comes with some historical paperwork. It is very intricately made of brass. One piece of tubing has been soldered. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: 6" x 7" x 7".

Lot: 1260 - VERY UNUSUAL GERMAN MARKLIN STEAM PLANT TOY.

Three sectional, mounted on base. Original base is partial wood and iron. Base underneath is metal, possibly fabricated. Sign on top marked M.C. 1909. Large, impressive. Made adjoined with original stack. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: 23 - 1/2" X 12 - 1/2" X 21".

Lot: 1379 - LOT OF 2: EARLY FRENCH HILL & MILL GAMES.

Both in original boxes with wood bottoms and cardboard tops. The smaller game is "Par Monts & Par Vaux", loosely translates to "Hill and Dale". Shows direction sheet on back of one of wooden boards depicting farm animals, people walking up a hill, and a man with a donkey. Nice paper label. Box lid does have some wear and splitting. Game itself is a wooden track with a small, metal, penny toy size train car. Looks to have original roof but car itself has been crudely painted. Second game is a larger game marked "Le Moulin" and shows a picture on the front of a man posing with his donkey in front of a mill. Inside is kind of elaborate with kind of a composition donkey with metal cart on metal base with lead wheels which go up the track, and the miller inside made of wood and composition. C. early 20th century. Unmarked, but looks like Marklin. There are two horses in front that are made of zinc and have wheels on the bottom of their hooves. They need to be reattached to the yoke. The carriage itself has flawless paint, dark deep blue with yellow highlighting, doors open on sides. Looks like there was originally two composition figures for drivers, which are no longer present. Spoked wheels. Horses do have some paint loss and wear, carriage has very little wear. Condition: (Excellent - Near Mint). Dimensions: 5 - 1/4" x 19 - 1/2" x 5".

Lot: 1384 - EARLY GERMAN MARKLIN LARGE SIZE WATER TANK TRUNK.

C. 1912. Hand-painted, looks to be all original, including top cap, back wheel crank and double spreader bar. Rear dual wheels, spoked wheels, some original rubber tires are on wheels, but are distressed, the front two wheels have no rubber remaining. This is the larger size of these two trucks that were made, 21 - 1/2". All original, as-found with some general overall wear, a few small dents in the tank and looks like it could clean to a better grade. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 11" x 22 - 1/2" x 7 - 1/2".

Lot: 1385 - EARLY GERMAN CARETTE CLOCKWORK OCEANLINER.

Four lifeboats, four funnels, two masts, four flags, including two tin litho Union Jack English flags on front and back of boat. Boat is nice red, white and black with green striping and has been professionally restored. Clockwork does work. Nice size boat, 32". Displays well. Condition: (Restored). Dimensions: 10" x 26" x 6".

Great highlights, multi-colored blue, red and yellow. Some paint loss and wear to one fender step and looks to have two very small dents to seat, which have been touched-up very slightly. Original tin litho driver, opening front and rear doors, Dunlop-Balloon Tyres. Nice color combination of red and cream. Original front headlight, grille is shiny and bright. Taxi lift on right side, two folding seats in middle and one rear seat. Also has original K. B. tag, marked "Motor Car with Self-Acting Brake and with Traffic Indicator Made in Bavaria". Definitely top-of-the-line for Karl Bub. A beautiful pre-war car, c. 1930's. Condition: (Excellent - Near Mint). Dimensions: 7 - 1/4" x 20" x 8".

Replaced sails and mast, but paint looks original, four lead wheels, very nice design and color combination. Probably early 1900's, and most likely German. Possibly c. 1910. Has rubber tires like early Bing or Ernest Plank autos. Hood folds up, revealing matches, back two seats pull up, showing place for cigarettes. Wind up works, but needs adjustment to work properly. There are three japanned zeppelins on top, two German WWI-type airplanes with drivers on bottom, all go around tower. Tower has some paint loss and one small 1" crack on side, as well as some paint chipping to base. Planes have some rust, especially to front fuselage and wings. Condition: (Very Good). In crisp original box with nice decal. Decal shows pig drumming. There is some staining on one side apron, which looks like it can be removed. Body is plush with original hat. When wound, pig dances around and plays metal violin with right arm going up and down, moving the bow. Marked "Made in Germany" on feet, also marked "Schuco Patent". Looks unused. C. 19th century. Looks to be all original including driver. Driver has original cloth clothes, which are somewhat tattered and he no longer has his feet. Two articulated horses with gold flashing and highlights, large metal spoked wheels, clockwork on bottom. General paint loss and wear, especially to front of seat. Condition: (Very Good). Lot: 1485 - EARLY IVES CLOCKWORK GENERAL BUTLER WALKING TOY.

Patented 1875, made of wood and composition with cast iron hands, head and shoes. Original clothing, missing one brass button on left side of jacket. Jacket is slightly soiled. Lot: 1493 - EARLY FRENCH PAPER MACHE TOY BULLDOG.

French bulldog with fur collar, glass eyes, and metal pull-chain, which when pulled has growler inside, while lower jaw goes up and down. Some damage to three of the four legs, but still presents well. Provenance: From the Collection of William L. Hibdon & Gary D. Deimund. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 14" x 17" x 9".

Lot: 1494 - WOODEN FOLK ART MECHANICAL PULL TOY.

When pulled, all four birds rotate in circular fashion. Works well with wooden wheels and original paint to birds. 14" long by 10" wide by 8" tall. No damage or repairs. Condition: (Excellent). Dimensions: 8" x 14" x 12".

Lot: 1495 - EARLY MODEL OF THE HINDENBURG ZEPPELIN.

Missing bottom propellers, but otherwise in excellent condition. Possibly could have been a store display. Has Nazi Swastikas on back tailfins, marked "D-LZ129", also marked "Hindenburg" on one side of nosecone. Made out of thick paper and cardboard with metal banding, probably period to when the Hindenburg was in flight, potentially c. 1930's, possibly before the May 6th, 1937 Hindenburg Disaster in New Jersey, where the zeppelin exploded while attempting to dock with its mooring mast at Lakehurst. Very interesting and could be a one-of-a-kind piece, perfect for zeppelin and hot air balloon collectors. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: 54" x 9 - 1/2" x 9 - 1/2".

Lot: 1496 - EARLY 1920'S H. E. BARRACUDA STEAM BOAT.

C. 1922. These models usually came with a four-cylinder Boucher engine, but this one has a rare larger version of their two-cylinder engine. Boat is 48" long. Comes with contemporary stand. Very ornately made with pressure gauges, brass inside steam, nice wooden finished deck. Very impressive and unusual steam boat. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: Largest: 49" x 12" x 12 - 1/2".

Lot: 1497 - EARLY H. E. BOUCHER POLLY-WOG MODEL BOAT WITH ORIGINAL PLANS IN TUBE.

C. 1925 to 1930. This boat was never used, only built and put away. The fuel line has not been connected to the engine. Made of wood and tin, has nice Boucher decal on both sides of boat. Prop and burner. Comes with contemporary homemade stand. Condition: (Excellent - Near Mint). Dimensions: Largest: 23 - 3/4" x 8 - 1/4" x 5 - 1/2".

Has Stuart-Turner electric engine. Wooden model c. 1930's. Probably made in Europe. Lifting engine compartment top. Some lifting to wood on deck. Comes with boat stand. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: Largest: 32" x 9 - 1/2" x 6".

Lot: 1499 - ELECTRICAL BATTLESHIP PATENTED AFTER THE U.S.S. OREGON.

Very large and impressive ship, with two huge sets of rotating guns on top deck and four other smaller sets of guns in middle section. Made by the Yankee Manufacturing Company, Cleveland, Ohio. Comes with paperwork c. 1915. Production piece made out of copper, aluminum and wood. Includes four lifeboats in copper, a nice plaque on side, electric motors inside underneath deck. Very heavily well-constructed toy model. Unusual, scarce, and displays well. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: 22" x 36" x 10".

One is a Mr. Peanut by Schoenhut, has "Mr. Peanut" on the hat, original cane and is wood jointed. The second is a Chein Popeye with original sea bag and original pipe, Chein sticker on bottom of left foot, also wood-jointed. Popeye has some crazing to head, face and neck area, body and neck are good. Mr. Peanut has some wear to his face near his left monocle. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). A beautiful set which looks unused, marked on the side "Action Soldier Set 728/14". Second is a set of Heyde Soldiers, approximately 20 lead German military soldiers, look like WWI-type Kaiser uniforms with spiked helmets, with one on horseback. Nice colorful paper label. Box lid has some distress and is missing parts of all four side aprons but displays well. Set includes number 206 Lithograph steam type engine, European style, matching no 27 four wheel tender, and one four wheel passenger car marked C.R.D France. Lot: 1528 - LIONEL PRE-WAR O-GAUGE NO. 262 FREIGHT TRAIN SET.

Includes original individual boxes and set box. Set box is marked "Outfit No. 181 for O-Gauge Track". Includes black No. 262 steam-type engine with cowcatcher and brass trim, matching eight-wheel Lionel Lines tender with brass journal boxes and three freight cars: a No. 814 ivory automobile car, a No. 812 dark green gondola and a No. 817 peacock blue two-tone caboose. All three cars have nickel journal boxes, but copper trim. Beautiful complete set came from original owner's family. Individual original boxes look complete, some small tearing and edge wear to boxes. Set box is crisp, has beautiful picture of boys playing with Lionel trains. Also comes with a lot of accessories, including boxed No. 020 O-gauge crossing, a B-type 75 watt transformer in its original box, a box is O-gauge track, a No. 81 controlling rheostat, a small telephone pole, a bottle of old engine oil, some literature and a box of connecting ties. Extremely complete set, probably as it was when it was bought new. Very little wear to train engine, tender or cars, a few small play nicks here and there. Includes original box with nice depiction of Mickey and Minnie on handcar. Marked "Made by the Lionel Corporation, New York" and "Walt Disney". Also marked "Lionel No. 1100 Mickey Mouse Handcar". Orange base, which is one of the toughest of the four color bases to find. Box has original inserts, paper showing track set-up and other items offered by Lionel. No track. Tails are original. Figures are bright. Has the original Gimbel's .99¢ price tag. Some slight wear where key goes in in back base of handcar. Looks to have original paper. Good working order. Includes key. Lot: 1530 - LOT OF 4: LIONEL NO. 2356 SOUTHERN AND NO. 2245 TEXAS SPECIAL.

Lot consists of a Lionel No. 2356 Southern Locomotive with a No. 2356 Dummy Unit that has some discoloration around the louvers, both in excellent condition, and a No. 2245 Texas Special Locomotive and No. 2245 Texas Special B-Unit, both also in excellent condition. All pieces are complete and all original. Has the original master carton with one original box for the No. 2356-T and one reproduction box. The master carton has a torn top lid. Lot: 1531 - LIONEL PRE-WAR O-GAUGE 260 FREIGHT TRAIN SET.

Includes a No. 260 steam-type engine with green striping, copper trim and matching tender, and five freight cars. Includes the original set box and individual boxes, but boxes have some missing flaps, tearing and creasing throughout. The engine is missing cowcatcher and some railing. The matching tender is also missing some railing, has Lionel Lines plates, and needs a repair to fasten tender to base. The cars are 800 Series freight cars, a No. 814 automobile furniture car, a No. 813 cattle car, a No. 814 furniture car, a No. 817 caboose with nickel trim and a No. 817 caboose with copper trim. There is paint flaking and wear to doors on the No. 814 furniture car with brown trim and there is some scratching and wear to rooves and bases of tenders. Condition: (Good - Very Good). Dimensions: Box: 19 - 1/4" x 14 - 3/4" x 7 - 3/4".

In the original box with colored cardboard inserts and five pieces of track. Box marked "By Permission Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Ltd Made in England Brim Toy Brand British Make". Box is complete but does have some edge wear and some creasing, slight fading to bottom edge of box lid but presents well. Colored inserts are of a train station and a Mickey Mouse house. Original key. Tin litho base with composition figures of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Base has Horace Horsecollar depicted on one side panel and Pluto on the other. Some minor scratching and wear to handcar base. Figures have some crazing throughout. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: Box: 13 - 3/4" x 11 - 1/2" x 2 - 3/4".

Includes original box showing Santa Claus operating handcar with Mickey Mouse in his backpack. Box is marked "No. 1105 The Lionel Corporation" and also "Walt Disney". Box graphics includes Lionel Santa car with Mickey Mouse. Box is complete but does have some edge wear and some creasing. Box does have cardboard inserts and track. Includes full eight-piece track. Handcar is in extremely nice condition and working well, does have a few paint chips on bottom edge of base where the tree is, and a little scrape 1/2" long where lever would hit base of handcar.
