Also, has branded signature above 1996 Henkel Harris Winchester Virginia. Base tag has Finish No. 29, Shop No. 0496-1661, Inspected By 143. Primary surfaces are outstanding. Upper case has four hinged doors with glazed moldings over glass panels, and Chippendale lattice moldings above. Interior has nine original adjustable glass shelves; base has four center-graduated drawers flanked by hinge blind doors. Upper drawer has fitted silver compartment, base also has satin wood inlay perimeter trim. Unit is complete with polished brass hardware and keys, upper unit has original lighted interior. Lot 13. Antique Eastern Virginia Empire Cellarette Chest: Mid 19th Century; Original, 32” height, 26.25” width, 12.75” depth. Very important Southern Virginia Cellarette. Very fine handmade construction, pegged and satinwood string inlay primary areas, half column post supported by very fine turned legs. Has original inlay key escutcheon with lock, hinged lid with five divided interior compartments, with center compartment 8.25” x 10.75” flanked by 5.5” x 6.75” compartments. Southern yellow pine secondary woods, two dovetail drawers below, two board back with cut nails. Overall condition is very good, with minor chips, shrinkage, and some staining. Missing one bail drawer pull, primary surface has been refinished, otherwise good original condition, and structurally sound, please view photos. Lot 14. Antique Southern Handmade Pie Safe Cupboard: Mid 19th Century; Original, 50.5” height, 43.75” width, 19” depth, outstanding southern example with twelve original matching punched tins. Antique Southern Handmade Walnut Stepback Cupboard: Mid 19th Century; Original, 82” height, 43.5” width, 22” depth, outstanding two piece southern design with two upper hinged doors, with twelve window panes. Two interior fixed shelves, lower case has two upper dovetail drawers, and two hinged blind doors below, and turned post. Has beautiful walnut primary woods and southern yellow pine secondary. North Carolina Thomas Day Furniture Carved Sofa: Mid 19th Century; Original, 38” height, 84” width, 28” depth, classic design with beautiful openwork scroll carved back, signature day scroll arms, and carved feet. Lot 17. Important Tennessee Sampler By Nancy Steele 1847: Mid 19th Century; Original, frame measures 23” x 21”, Nancy Elizabeth Steele was born on December 16, 1934, in Williamson, TN. She had one daughter with Paul Weisman Dodson in 1855. She died on May 9, 1890 in Maury, TN, at the age of 5. This sampler has descended through the consigners family; sampler has quote “ How Hard Is It To Find A Friend On Whom We Always May Depend.” RS. EHS. MDP, Nancy Steele Tenn. Wrote this 1847. Artwork of beautiful two story colonial home, with birds perched on chimney, dog and figures in yard flanked by urns with flowers and trees. This rare southern sampler is a new discovery, and being offered for the first time. Overall condition is outstanding and original, please view photos. Lot 18. Important 1830 Orange County N.C. Margaret Mebane Steele Sampler: 1830; Original, frame measures 18” x 19”, Wife of James Crutchfield Turrentine — married 18 Jan 1831 in Orange County, North Carolina. This sampler was descended through the consigners family, a very important new discovery here in North Carolina. Sampler is signed Margaret M. Steele, sampler made in the 18th year of her age, March 10, 1830. Overall condition is original, unaltered, with minor loss; colors have faded, displayed under glass. Vintage 14K Gold Gemstone Bracelet: Mid 20th Century; Original, 8" length, One stamped and tested 14KT yellow gold lady's combination cast and assembled multi gem slide bracelet with a round filigree tongue clasp with a polished finish. The bracelet consists of fourteen individual slides strung on a pair of 1.50mm rope link chains with a pair of 4mm yellow gold beads strung between them, (except between the cameo and Peridot slides). The clasp is a 11mm x 3.7mm round filigree look, box style clasp. The bracelet measures 8 inches long x 13.46mm wide x 7.2mm thick. From the clasp end the slides are: 1. 10mm square with a round, rhodium plated illusion top centered by a tiny single cut diamond, 2. Vintage 14K Gold Designer Gemstone Ring: Mid 20th Century; Original, Size 6.5, One stamped and tested 14KT yellow gold lady's cast gemstone fashion ring with a half round shank with a polished finish. The ring is center set with a heart shaped, pyrope garnet, surrounded by a frame of sixteen round diamonds with an estimated total weight of 0.19ct. (two single cut). The shoulders of the ring are rounded and pinched on each end. Another heart shaped garnet is set under each shoulder with two pear shaped cutouts revealing the shoulders and a shield shaped cutout revealing the point of the underlying gem. The estimated total weight of the garnets is 4.25ct. The ring measures approximately 11mm at the top, 9mm wide at the shoulders and 2.42mm wide at the back of the half round band. Lot 223. Vintage 14K White Gold Gemstone Ring: Mid 20th Century; Original, Size 7.5, One stamped and tested 14KT white and yellow gold lady's cast tanzanite and diamond fashion ring with a half round shank with a polished finish. The ring is center set with one 0.92ct (estimated weight), marquise cut tanzanite, set in two 'V' prongs. The shoulders of the ring each have a slightly different patter. One shoulder has a line of diamond melee set in a diagonal toward the center following along a yellow gold, raised polished straight line and one single round diamond set below the line, next to the tanzanite. The other shoulder has a raised wavy gold line with one single round diamond melee on one side of it and two round diamond melee flush set on the opposite side and spaced inside the curves. The estimated total weight of the eight diamonds is 0.22ct. The ring measures 10.62mm wide at the top, 6.21mm wide at the shoulders, 5.23mm wide at the side of the band and 2.86mm wide at the back of the band. Identified with markings of "none". Lot 277. Very Fine 14K Gold Pearl Necklace And Earring Set: Mid 20th Century; Original, This lady's strand of cultured salt-water pearls holds 69. 7.5mm to 8mm, round pearls. The pearls are knotted between each one and have a high luster. The pearls are clean with a white color and rose highlights. The pearls are 25 inches in length and have a 14 karat yellow gold decorative pearl clasp. The clasp holds a 7.3mm pearl in the center with three, gold petals that are separated by a 2.3mm, round genuine emerald. The emeralds have a nice medium tone and are Tiffany set in four-prong heads. Rare Hickey And Tull’s Philadelphia Traveling Leather Trunk: Mid 29th Century, Original, 19.25” height, 26.5” width, 17” depth, extremely rare and important identified North Carolina Willis Alston of Butterwood Plantation Halifax N.C. gift to Sarah (Sallie) Madeline Potts of Wilmington N.C. family presentation commissioned American made leather trunk with identification engraved nameplate S.M. Alston Halifax Co. N.C. Original, unaltered brass lock plate with key in working condition stamped C. LIEBRICH PHILA, with beautiful American eagle above. After close inspection, we believe this trunk to be well kept, preserved and original. Shape of trunk has radius top and radius mid body similar to Bombay form or Stagecoach style, with beautiful preserved tooled leather throughout, decorations such as geometrics, diamonds, bowties, small cartouches, and body of trunk has six metal bands at top and lower body. Side has two matching bands; all bands have polished brass, caps/rosettes. Original leather straps and handles, bottom has two wooden baseboards with metal inset rollers, with metal bottom supported by six metal straps. Interior of trunk has original unaltered working hinges, interior of lid has working slide lock, when released, hinged lower compartment has linen lined boards that folds down and reveals compartment with two interior hinged doors that retains original Hickey & Tull Wholesale And Retain Manufactures Of The Most Improved Solid Riveted Iron Frame Travelling Trunks, showing images of examples of Valice Trunks And Carpet Bags. And Ladies Trunks, Bonnet Boxes & Cap Cases No. 150 Chestnut Street Front Of Jones Hotel, And Opposite Of The Arcade Philadelphia Printer Young. Folding doors have original textile string, underside lid has three original wing nuts with leather thumb pull, with divided interior compartment. Primary interior panels have red and gold paper finish with burgundy velvet stamped pattern and a red white and blue patriotic finch-rail stitching. When primary lid is raised, the white linen repeats in lower compartment, with a large 8.75” x 11” interior primary retailers label titled Hickey & Tull’s Cheap Solid Riveted Iron Frame Traveling Trunks Manufactory. Lower left Marked Alexander L. Hickey And Richard W. Tull, interior has circular stamp titled Robert Young with a crown and harp logo. Bottom interior appears to be completely original, unaltered, and well preserved. Discovered in the bottom of the trunk, is a 19th century key chain with silver nametag with American eagle stamped W. H. Pleasants Jr. Louisburg N.C dated 1899. Side of trunk has stencil titled S. M. Alston. Overall, very minor staining in leather, one brass buckle missing, 6” of leather belt is detached, lock is complete and in working condition with mechanical brass lock plate, 19” of center leather band is missing, top is missing two brass caps, otherwise a truly rare American antique travelling trunk. Very Fine 18K White Gold Diamond Ballerina Ring: Mid 20th Century, Original, Size 5, One stamped 18KT white gold lady’s combination cast & assembled diamond ballerina ring with a flat tapered shank with a polished finish. The ballerina style ring is center set with one 1.13ct (estimated weight) round brilliant cut diamond set in four prongs flanked on each side by fan of three (3) marquise cut diamonds set in prongs on their points. The estimated total weight of the six (6) marquise diamonds is .61 ct. There are fourteen (14) tapered, prong set, baguette cut diamonds fanning around the top and sits 10.73 mm off the finger and is set up on a tall, twenty-eight (28) wire gallery. The shoulders are raised and solid and the band narrows toward the shoulders where it measures .90 mm wide. The side of the band measures 1.60 mm and the back measures 2.19 mm. Half of the baguettes have minor chips on the corners and one marquise has a small chip. Trademark is Italy. Identified with markings of “18K”. Condition is good. One prong set round brilliant cut diamond, measuring 7.08-7.05x3.72mm (depth est.) approximate weight of 1.13ct. Clarity of VS-2, color of H-I, Cut is Fair, Depth is 52.6, Table is 69.7%, polish is good, symmetry is fair. Culet is off center and symmetry is fair. Six prong marquise shaped cut diamonds, measuring 4.25 x 2.55 x 1.61mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 6 Stones= 0.61ct. Lot 302. Vintage 14-18K Gold Lady’s Charm Bracelet: Mid 20th Century, Original, One stamped & tested 14-18KT yellow gold lady’s combination cast & assembled, ten charm bracelet, with a hidden push button box clasp. The bracelet measures 7.5 inches long x 25 mm wide x 3.3 mm thick and consists of a center row of Garabaldi links flanked on each edge by a 3 mm rope link chain. The push button on the clasp is in the shape of a flower. Trademark is various. Identified with markings of “14K & 18K”. Condition is good. There are ten (10) large yellow gold charms attached by jump rings to the bracelet. They are: 1. 3D dome from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Florence Italy stamped Un A Erre 1AR 70, 30 mm long x 3.88 mm in diameter at the octagonal base, approximately 4.4 grams. 2. 30 mm diameter round disk centered by a wishing well with an arch over top and vines. The charm is cutout inside the arch and accented with 2 mm round synthetic gems in red, green and blue set in four prong settings. The background has a Florentine finish and the edges have a diamond cut flourish, approximately 7.4 grams. 3. 3D San Francisco cable car’ Powell Mason’ 25 mm long x 17.6 mm tall x 11 mm thick open details inside including a conductor in the front and a passenger at the back, approximately 7.6 grams. 4. 3D Cruise ship with a marquise shaped, checkerboard faceted, purple cabochon glass, bezel set, keel. There are two tall smoke stacks in the center and three smaller stacks on each side, bezel set with an alternating pattern of red and blue synthetic round stones. There is a pair of 3 mm white beads set on wires at the stern and bow (one wire is lifted up). The ship measures 36 mm long x 16.7 mm tall and 11.52 mm wide. There are four open portholes on each side and the ship tests 18K and weighs approximately 7.4 grams. 5. Octagon shaped disk with a round opening with a cupped shaped back, the shadow box style charm features a sulky and a jockey in a red and white enamel shirt and cap. There are two round red synthetic stones set at the top of the Florentine finished back. The charm measures 32 mm in diameter and is stamped AC 14K and weights approximately 8.2 grams. 6. Round shaped double-hinged locket with room for four photos. The 32 mm diameter x 5.44 mm thick locket with a figure eight latch has a Florentine finish on the top. There is a dimensional, polished finish curt at the bottom, bezel set with a small 1.3mm single cut diamond. There is a crown with two pear shaped opals set in three prongs with three lines of three (3) pave set single cut diamonds in between them and a band of five (5) pave set single cut diamonds at the base of the crown. The inside of the casing has a circular engine turned finish. Stamped B14K, approximately 18.6 grams. 7. 3D crown with multiple arches and embellishments in between them, The front features [email protected], [email protected], 3 mm round synthetic gems set in four prongs inside the arches. The charm measures 15.35 mm long x 15 mm in diameter and is edged with a rope chain look edge and weights approximately 5.9 grams. 8. 3D sombrero measuring approximately 30 mm in diameter x 12 mm tall, this brim is up turned and set with size small round gems. [email protected] 3.3 mm cabochon turquoise beads, 1 @3.3mm round cultured pearl, 1 each @ 3 mm round faceted blue sapphire, emerald, and a garnet, each set in four prongs. The top of the brim has cast decorations and a twist wire edging around the brim and a small bolo tie around the crown. The charm has a polished finish on the underside and weighs approximately 4.8 grams. 9. Round, shadow box style disk measuring approximately 29 mm in diameter with a 16 mm in diameter opening. Inside the opening is a 2-D birthday cake with open hearts around the side and accented with 2 mm round faceted synthetic gems in green, red and blue set in four prong settings with a candle at the top in the middle. The charm has a cupped back and the frame has a pebbled finish with HAPPY across the top and BIRTHDAY along the bottom. The charm weighs approximately 4.4 grams. 10. Four sided, hinged, ornate box charm with a peaked top and a domed bottom. The charm measures approximately 40 mm long x 20 mm wide, with applied wire curls and granulation designs on all sides and edges. The front is set with one, bezel set 11 x 9 mm oval faceted citrine and two sides are bezel set with an approximately 6 mm round faceted citrine and the top side of the peak is bezel set with one 5 mm citrine, above the oval. The charm weighs approximately 16.5 grams and is stamped 750. Containing: One prong set round modified brilliant cut natural pyrope garnet, measuring 3.00 - 3.00 x 1.95 mm, (depth est.) approximate total weight of 0.13ct., clarity is eye clean, type II, medium dark, very slightly brownish, red color, (GIA R 6/3), cut if fair. One prong set round modified brilliant cut natural blue sapphire, measuring 3.00 - 3.00 x 1.95 mm, (depth est.) approximate weight of 0.14ct., clarity is moderately included, type II, medium, moderately strong, violetish blue color, (GIA vB 5/4), cut is fair. The watch measures 31 mm long x 15 mm in diameter with an attached 7 mm bead and 25 mm long fringe made of fox tail link chains on the 12 o’clock end. The watch runs but does not keep time. Very Fine 14K Gold Gemstones And Cultured Pearl Florentine Pendant: Mid 20th Century, Original, One stamped 14KT yellow gold lady’s combination cast & assembles round anniversary disk charm with Florentine and polished finishes. The disk measures approximately 40 mm in diameter with a 2.92 mm wide rope chain-like border. There is a cake design in the center that measures 24 mm long x 20 mm wide having a base of alternating red and blue 2 mm round faceted synthetic rubies & sapphires set in four prongs in an up-turned curve, topped by a Happy Anniversary, 4 mm wide, embossed banner. The top of the ‘cake’ consists of a cluster of seven (7), approximately 3 mm, cultured pearls set in prongs with another synthetic round ruby in the middle. A yellow gold candle tops the cake design. Trademark is none. Identified with markings of “14K”. Condition is good. Containing: Seven akoya cultured pearls, 3.5mm to 3.0mm in size. The pearls are light cream in color, rose overtone with a good luster, acceptable nacre, round to near round, and mostly clean with fair matching, total weight of charm 19.20gm.
