This week's auction will feature interesting estate merchandise including an impressive collection of antique art.  The highlight piece is a large oil on canvas landscape painting of the White Mountains of New Hampshire by listed American artist William Henry Hilliard (1836-1905) in a very impressive period gilt frame.  This painting was purchased at the Estate Auction of Clara Welch of Cooperstown NY in 1948 and has been privately owned since that time.  We are delighted to offer this important and beautiful painting at public auction!

This auction also includes many items from the estate of prominent Oneontan Robert Moyer who was the long-time CEO of the Wilber National Bank.  An impressive collection of old US coins will also be sold including a $20 gold piece (Double Eagle), $1 gold piece, Several Morgan and Peace silver dollars and more.

PARTIAL LISTING:   Antique furniture including Country Hepplewhite drop leaf gate leg table, full size solid tiger and birdseye maple sleigh bed, Country Sheraton 1 drawer stand, set of 4 country cane seat chairs, Governor Winthrop secretary desk with carved claw feet, primitive wood box in old finish, 1 drawer washstand, narrow maple bookcase, contemporary corner curio cabinet, 2 Hartwick College commemorative presentation armchairs.

2 pairs of large, unique and heavy wooden doors with ornate Asian themed brass decoration and dog head pulls  (You've really got to see them!).

Quantity of attractive and antique framed art in addition to the large and impressive W. H. Hilliard landscape painting including 2 early primitive portraits, Victorian land and waterscapes (most beautifully framed), Victorian oil genre of boys playing with toy cannon, Victorian lady on porcelain, original watercolor and limited edition prints by local artist Linda Cole, numbered etching by listed artist Ethel Magafan, Cooperstown scenes.

Very unique collection of 7 17" high figures (Explorers and Europeans) beautifully outfitted with excellent detail....several are marked "W.P.A. Museum Extension Project of N.J.".

62 pieces of Gorham sterling silver flatware weighing 51.5 Troy ounces (Weight does NOT include knives), other sterling and early coin silver pieces, fancy plated tea set.

Nice assortment of interesting small items and decorative pieces including quality crystal, signed Steuben vase, collection of English Wedgwood Jasperware, figural foo dogs, Asian ceramics, brass candlesticks, Hummel plates and figurines, estate and sterling silver jewelry including Taxco, collection of miniature cannons, lead soldiers, Matchbox cars, Bundy trumpet, German clocks, 19th century hanging barometer signed W. H. Vintage model trains including excellent Lionel uncataloged set #6617 EF with all original boxes in MINT condition, American Flyer "Bluebird" passenger set #1338 with original boxes in excellent condition, Lionel O gauge Derrick car #810 with original box, rare Lionel "Donald Duck Hand Car" #1107 with composition figures, Lionel set with engine #2025, assorted track and switches.
