Building Description Retreat House – The retreat house is a two story brick home with an asphalt shingle roof. The main floor of the home consists of an entry, dining room, kitchen, living room with fireplace, bedroom, full bathroom, half bathroom, and porch area. The upstairs of the home consists of four bedrooms and one full bathroom. The home has a full basement which contains the forced air natural gas furnace with central air conditioning. In addition to the basement furnace the second floor of the home has a forced air natural gas furnace with central air conditioning. The roof on the home has been replaced within the last year and is in good condition. The home is in good condition, however does not have many modern updates. According to the assessor’s records the home was constructed in 1925. Directors Building – The directors building is one story manufactured home with vinyl siding and an asphalt shingle roof. The home consists of a large living room, two bedrooms, full bathroom, master bedroom with master bathroom, utility room, and kitchen with dining area and fireplace. The building was installed in 1991 and is in fair condition. The building has a forced air natural gas furnace with central air conditioning. Garage – The garage is 24’ X 32’ pole construction building with metal siding, metal roofing, and a concrete floor. There is a 16’ X 24’ open lean to on the east end of the garage. The garage was constructed in 1995. Craft Building – The craft building is a 28’ X 60’ block construction building with 12’ X 60’ lean to on both the north and south sides. The building has an asphalt shingle roof and is open on the inside with a fireplace on the east wall. The building does not have water and is not heated. According to the assessors records the building was constructed in 1955. The craft building is approaching the end of its useful life and is physically and functionally depreciated. The building has limited contributory value to the subject. Dining Hall – The dining hall is a one story block construction building with an asphalt shingle roof. The dining hall consists of a screened in porch area, large open dining area, commercial kitchen, pantry, half bathroom, and utility room. According to the assessor’s records the building was constructed in 1955. Gillam Center – The Gillam Center is a pole construction building with metal siding and metal roofing. The main portion of the building is 48’ X 120’ with a concrete floor. The west lean to of the building is 15’ X 120’ and is enclosed. The east lean to is 15’ X 120’ and is open. The building has electrical service, however does not have water. The building is in average condition and was constructed in 2002. Bath House – The bath house is a block construction building that contains both a men’s and women’s restroom and shower facility. The east part of the building is the women’s restroom and has 4 sinks, 4 toilets, and 3 showers. The west part of the building is the men’s restroom and contains 4 sinks, 2 toilets, 2 urinals, and 3 showers. The north part of the building is a mechanical room which contains the pressure tanks for the well, hot water heaters, and well controls. According to the assessor’s records the building was constructed in 1980. Cabins – The subject property has five cabins. Cabins 1, 2, 3, & 5 are the same and have three sleeping quarters, and a large restroom with 4 stools and 4 showers. Cabin 4 is the same as cabins 1, 2, 3, & 5 with the exception that it has a small kitchenette. The cabins were constructed in 1955 and are approaching the end of their useful life and are physically and functionally depreciated with limited contributory value to the subject property. Pole Barn – The pole barn is 40’ X 60’ with pole construction, metal siding, and an asphalt shingle roof. The pole barn is in need of a new roof and is physically and functionally depreciated with limited contributory value to the subject property. Shelter House – There is a shelter house and small storage building located at the beach area that has limited contributory value to the subject property.
