Howard Timmerman will offer his Electric Train Collection at public auction, as he has had to downsize and relocate to assisted living. Auction at the Hancock County 4H fairgrounds in Greenfield, Indiana. From I-70 east of Indianapolis to Greenfield (SR 9) exit then South to US 40 (see courthouse) then East approximately 1 mile to light at Apple Street, then North 6 blocks to Fairgrounds on:


An offering of railroad related items will be offered, including photographs, posters, books, magazines, etc. Offering to include several “Official Guides of the Railways” including originals from June 1916, February 1931, November 1934, July 1937, and February 1940. There will be three prints also. There will be accessories and parts available. Most of these items re boxed, and have not been listed it directly. The purpose of the Friday evening offering is to take some of the edge off of getting everything done on Saturday, and to allow patrons to have a good preview period for the trains and other toys. Do not let the brevity of this ad fool you - there is a lot to be offered.

Large assortment of 1930s and 1940s electric trains including Pride Lines 752E2B City of Portland with one power unit 752E, one baggage car 752B, two coaches 753, one observation 754, and four vestibules (per seller, condition is mint); K-Line K-2126 AT&SF A-A’s Twin Powered and Dummy Condition Excellent; Mike’s Train House including: N.Y. C. Hudson #5344 MT-1108-3 rail excellent, New Standard Gauge Tinplate 392E, Like new No 427 Philadelphia, Like new No. 424 Liberty Bell, No 425 Stephen Girard, No. 426 Coral Isle like new, and MTH-Leland Detroit Mono-Rail Train set excellent; large offering of American Flyer including several Pullman Cars, #1622-6R Observation, City of Denver 4 unit, 34680 Hudson (2-6-4) – no tender; just to name a few. Mr. Timmerman’s inventory list will be attached for study. In addition, there will be lots of track, tables, display racks, and much more. See the pictures!

NOTE: This is an emotional time for Seller. This collection of trains is most all from the 1930’s up to WWII. We have held down the print advertising, and will rely on pictures found on and Auctioneer Number 20636, and the attached inventory list given by Mr. Timmerman. We aim to be as accurate as possible, but there could be a few discrepancies, due to seller’s inability to go to the basement where this large offering was set up and or stored. The facility is full service, and food will be offered by Goodness and Grace Catering.
