Own a piece of American history! This is a once-in-a-lifetime, two-day on-site auction where seven generations of accumulated goods from the early 1700s through mid-20th century will be sold right on the original property. You'll be surrounded by the history of the Holcombe family, Lambertville's first residents, who built the existing stone house in 1724, where General George Washington made his headquarters twice (documented by the Lambertville Historical Society) during the Revolutionary War. Included in the sale are some important early pieces: Hunterdon County clockmaker George Rea's tall case clock marked "Quakertown 1796", period Federal and Chippendale furniture, period original artwork by local painters, and so much more. This sale is not to be missed!
