HISTORICAL SLEIGH – ALBANY CUTTER SELLS AT 12:30 P.M.

 

-          This sleigh belonged to John D. Strong of Troy, Kansas, Abraham Lincoln’s secretary. John was a relative of Carolyn’s husband, William Strong. Their family history states that President Lincoln rode in this sleigh in 1859 when he made a speech at the court house in Troy, Kansas. Restored in 1999, nice pc
