PAT. 3,742,787, no bits included and a chalk line from STRAIT-LINE PRODUCTS COSTA MESA, CALIF PAT PEND, very good.

645 - Four wooden handled knives Four wooden handled knives: one of the longer ones marked DEXTER on blade; the other HARRINGTON CUTLERY CO., both very good; one of the smaller ones has a file handle; the other small one has a handle marked DEXTER. All are very good.

646 - Lot: Unknown rasp; Stanley #79 box scraper plane & Lot: Unknown rasp, very good; Stanley #79 box scraper plane, SW-logo blade, needs light cleaning very good; and a Millers Falls No. 29 ratcheting screwdriver with one flat bit, very good.

647 - Pair of wooden molding planes Pair of wooden molding planes: BARRY & Co. PHILAD’a complex profile missing a wide piece of boxing in front of throat, otherwise very good, rated three stars in the current AWP; and an OHIO TOOL CO No. 72 round #8 that has been converted into a complex profile, nicely done.

648 - Uber rare Stanley Type I BEDROCK No. 4 1/2C Uber rare Stanley Type I BEDROCK No. 4 1/2C, these earliest Bedrock planes had a regular number rather than the three-digit numbers used on subsequent models, they are also characterized by the milling mark below the single patent date in the bed. This is where a second patent date was milled off prior to the japanning process, the 2-line STANLEY BEDROCK lever cap has a horizontal crack going 1/2 way thru. The body and frog are the best parts here, there is some fine pitting on the right side of the body from an earlier cleaning, but there are no brakes or cracks, the frog is very good, tote spur is MIA, front knob is MIA, but the mounting bolt remains. A good project for the most dedicated of BEDROCK collectors.

649 - Pair of wooden molding planes Pair of wooden molding planes: Z.J. M’MASTER AUBURN, NY 3/4-inch complex profile, complete and very good; and a A.J. WILKINSON & CO. BOSTON 7/8-inch boxed side bead, improper wedge but intact blade and very good stock.

650 - Edwin E. Frederick Patent (1901) inclinometer leve Edwin E. Frederick Patent (Sept. 24, 1901) inclinometer level with 18-inch wooden stock having a brass inclinometer level inserted into it, the brass face is marked in degrees and PAT APPL’D FOR, we have had a few level experts tell us it is a known Pittsburgh PA Patent , but we have been unable to find the patent. It came out of the same Pittsburgh PA collection as the lots above.

651 - Early prelateral Stanley #13 compass plane Early prelateral Stanley #13 compass plane with solid adjuster nut, the flexible sole plated is screwed to the bottom of the frog, has an improper (later) lever cap, all surfaces have light to moderate rust, will clean to very good overall.

697 - Stanley BEDROCK No. 606C FT iron fore plane Stanley BEDROCK No. 606C FT iron fore plane with STANLEY lever cap, good BB-logo blade, spur of rosewood tote has been broken off and re-attached, good tall knob, light rust, will clean to fine overall.

698 - Keen Kutter K35 transitional smoother Keen Kutter K35 transitional smoother, some rust on blade and chipbreaker, will clean to very good overall.

699 - OHIO TOOL CO. No. 06C iron fore plane OHIO TOOL CO. No. 06C iron fore plane, nice original tote and low, knob, THISTLE BRAND blade has light to moderate rust, nice japanning, will clean to fine overall.

700 - Scarce Sargent No. 76 compass plane Scarce Sargent No. 76 compass plane, similar to Stanley #113, has model number stamped into top of blade, and has both SARGENT & CO and 76 cast into the adjuster, light rust to exposed surfaces, will clean to very good overall.

701 - Siegley No. 4C iron smooth plane with adj. throat Siegley No. 4C iron smooth plane with adjustable throat, Bailey-type blade adjuster, fine original tote and knob, has light rust on blade, will easily clean to fine overall.

702 - Stanley VICTOR No. 20 compass plane Stanley VICTOR No. 20 compass plane, good V-logo blade, has small casting inclusion in top of lever cap, most exposed surfaces have light rust, will clean to very good overall.
