This herd consists of 21 cows and 14 heifers.

• 21 cows: (6) R & W and (3) B & W Holsteins, (9) Jerseys and (3) Jersey cross

• (7) cows tested A2-A2 positive (including a few Jerseys)

• 17 Fresh, 4 dry cows • 12 Cows bred back

• 5 cows 1st lactation, balance mature cows

• 3.9 BF, 3.0 Pro., 150,000 SCC Average

• Cows serviced w/bull or AI • Exercised daily.

14 Heifers; (2) are A2-A2 positive

• (1) R & W Holstein - bred 4 months

• (3) Holstein breeding age • (2) Jersey cross breeding age

• (4) Holstein age 6 mo. to 1 yr. (2 R & W)

Auctioneer Note: Cows were not pushed for production fed very little grain. Good quality framed cows. Good udders. Calm cows - very easy to handle. If you are a dairy man and want to add to your herd, or you’re looking for a family cow, be it Holstein or Jersey, then DO NOT miss these cows. Cows can be kept overnight and milked till you arrange trucking. Auction held in tent. Individual cow records at sale time.



The Esh’s have decided to pursue other avenues, more tobacco, etc. and want to disperse their unneeded cows and equipment. We will begin at 7:00 PM (DST). Be on time, not many smalls, followed by equip., tractor, milking equip. then cows @ 8:00. Auction Co. and sellers are not responsible for accidents. Auction day announcements take precedence over all advertising. Payment terms: Cash, approved PA check or credit card w/3% fee. Food Stand.
