6/28/18 - Dianna and I left around six this afternoon with only a couple tables remaining to prep. I am not sure if I will prep them Friday morning or not. I won't know until Friday morning. We have added a collection of more than 100 bells. Some of these bells are cast metal, Imperial glass, Fenton and many other names. Check the gallery. All the bells have been photographed including the tag with their story/description/history, etc. I have prepped an entire pallet/skid of tools. Be sure to arrive early with plans for another late evening. YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID! Thank you for the referrals, the opportunity to serve you and your continued support.

6/27/18 - I just received an email from Auto and RV magazine. The sender has "inherited" some accounts and she was letting me know mine was one of them. It is funny to me because I have never run an ad with them. I might would consider when I have vehicles, but lying to me isn't a way to earn my business. That being said, Dianna and I have prepped all day. More than 125 more photos have been uploaded. More will be uploaded Thursday evening. As I mentioned Tuesday, lots of tools. I unloaded the trailer. A freezer is waiting for prep Thursday morning. I have filled a couple of tables with tools. We already had tools from last week and I will be working a skid Thursday that may have more tools. I met with a contractor around noon. He is closing to move to Arizona. He is offering to auction some very nice power tools, hand tools, ladders and almost every type of tool that can be used in construction of homes and/or remodeling. He is scheduled to contact me by tomorrow to let me know his decision. I met with a lady this evening. Her sister moved into an assisted living facility. She would like to sell the house with the contents. I made her a couple of offers involving my services. She is going to speak with the family and let me know within a couple of weeks. Nevertheless, there are plenty of items waiting to be auctioned that are already in the facility and many more scheduled to be picked up. At the present time, counting scheduled pick ups, Star Light Auctions could run at least 12-5 hour auctions without slowing down. Thanks to referrals the phone is constantly being answered. There are many items in the facility. You should view the photo gallery and be sure to arrive early with plans for another late evening. YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID! Thank you for the referrals, the opportunity to serve you and your continued support.

6/26/18 - Many readers may not know that Star Light Auctions are doing estates of the living, deceased and/or (mostly and) storage units every week. We have consignors that have been selling with us for 10 years; storage companies that have been with us for nearly as long. The repeat sales and new business have Dianna and I burning the candle at both ends. This week we are offering a bedroom set that includes headboard, rails, night stand, tall chest, and triple dresser with mirror, table with 4 chairs, chest, stereo cabinet, Lay-Z-Boy recliner, lift chair, spool bed, microwave with stand, another microwave stand, desk, and other odd pieces of furniture. These items have been prepped and appear in the photo gallery. More will be prepped tomorrow. The auctioneer's wife has prepped several tables with more photos in the gallery. Tools including large vice, large table grinder, table top drill press and lots of other hand tools, miscellaneous household items, coins and furniture will be added tomorrow during prep. Photos will be uploaded of the freshly prepped items tomorrow,  Wednesday, evening. Be sure to arrive early with plans for another late evening. YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID! Thank you for the referrals, the opportunity to serve you and your continued support.

6/25/18 - NEW AC has been installed. It may not keep it at 60, but, I am sure it will keep it cooler than before. Dan and I picked up a partial load today after unloading the trailer. Of course, there are plenty of items for you to inspect when you arrive early with plans for another late evening. YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID! Thank you for the referrals, the opportunity to serve you and your continued support.

6/24/18 - Saturday was a day well spent. After emptying nearly all the contents of Friday's auction, I had no reason to go to the facility early. I started running consultation appointments early morning. By the end of the day I had booked 4-10x30 and 1-10x15 storage units packed so tight the auctioneer could barely step in only one. Another booking with a couple that is offering nice furniture and small items from a home in a gated community and a lady that has items for auction because she, too, is moving to a smaller place. I, also, picked up a small load from La Porte. I will be starting the pick up of these items next week and will continue until they are complete. I received a couple more calls that I will be following up on the first of the week. With items moving at a fast speed and coming in even faster, the pressure is mounting on the auctioneer and his wife. That is why it is critical that items are removed from the facility on Friday night or Saturday. In order to keep up moving the incoming supply it is of utmost importance to continue transferring ownership of all items being offered. Deals fly and this week is offering another tremendous variety of items from furniture, tools, collectibles, household and shop items. Be sure to arrive early with plans for another late evening. YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID! Thank you for the referrals, the opportunity to serve you and your continued support.
